This year was the 3rd year at Camp Seymour for my 2 sons. The first year my younger son got homesick, but they helped him through it and he had a great time. Now he loves to go and this year he didn't want to leave! My older son is old enough to go on teen trips. He loves the Kayaking trips, even when it rained! (Go figure!). Camp Seymour is a great place for all ages, with lots of activity options for lots of different personalities. They will definitely be going back again next year!

I really like camp and I'm hoping to go next year. This was my first year. I hope that I get the same counselors because they were really nice and really enjoyed all the activities. See ya next year!

My daughter's attended camp at Seymour for 2 years now, and it just doesn't get any better. Gorgeous setting, great cabins and lots of amenities. She's definitely planning to return next year.

Our child had special diet needs. They took the effort to have labels available to him so he could make the proper eating choices.

A great place. Really does a good job on teaching values. I am glad they do the Ragger program. I've attened a few CLC's and other YMCA Training events here when I was starting in my YMCA Career almost 15 years ago...it's been a while since I've been back...actually proposed to my wife on the cove campfire stage...she said yes:)

What is a beautiful place! Anyone given the opportunity to experience Camp Seymour, should! The camp is full of beautiful facilities including a georgous waterfront. When you go, don't forget to check out the "outback trails"! I had the opportunity to volunteer with the Outdoor Environmental Education staff, and they were great! All were very knowledgeable and full of energy. The summer camp staff are great as well. I look forward to the next opportunity I have to spend time at YMCA Camp Seymour.

We did the Mother's Day Family Camp and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was really good too. Loved the climbing wall. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. The buildings themselves are somewhat dated, yet functional and relatively clean.

This will be the fourth year that my sons (10 & 11) have attended Camp Seymour. When I pick them up, their first question is, "Can I come back again next year?". It's the only activity they like better then video games.

My daughter was afraid to attend camp, but after her 5th grade went to Camp Seymour she was begging to go back. She went for two separate weeks last summer, and this summer she is old enough for a two-week program. She is thrilled, and we feel great knowing she is safe and having a wondeful time. She swam in the salt water and the pool, tried new foods, and learned about life outside our home (only child). I think she was challenged to try new things and let go of some of her fear.

This year is our daughter's sixth year at Camp Seymour and we couldn't be happier with the growth and experience she gains every summer by atending the many enjoyable programs offered. Thank you Camp Seymour, I feel secure knowing my child is safe and having fun!

Excellent balance between structured activities and free time. Activities and responsibilities expand as the camper gets older which leads to new and relevant experiences. The teen leadership sessions, backpacking, overnight trips and in-camp time have provided confidence building, respect for people and nature, and the best life-long memories. The staff is well-qualified, fun, caring, and excellent role models. The forested site is beautifully surrounded by water with activities for all interests.

Our son comes back smiling and happy after being at camp. It's time away from Mom and Dad to be a kid and meet goals. He surpassed his goals each year that he has been at camp Seymour. I must say, sewing on all of the badges, not my favorite chore, but the look on his face, WORTH IT! We miss him for two weeks just to pick up a more supportive, happy, outgoing young man who grows more each year with his experience.

My son (13) had an excellent experience at Camp Seymour. He going back and his younger sister is joining him this year. My son is reserved and shy and both his councelors respected his nature. Location is beautiful, facilities are in great condition (4 rating reflects a bathroom mess left by pranksters), superb value. We travel to CS from central Idaho after our research of the entire region showed us this was the best place for our family. Professional, caring staff.

My daughter had a fantastic time and was really sad to have the week over. She begged to go back this year, and will. Her favorite part was meeting new friends and having the camaraderie with her cabin mates.

Cassidy enjoyed herself. She stayed busy and loved the councelors. It was nice to have a camp that was fairly close to home, but far enough away for her to have a little adventure.

My son went as the youngest camper (Age 6) allowed last summer and he had a fantastic time. He raved and raved about everything for weeks after he returned. He particularly enjoyed his camp counselors and the wide variety of activities that they did every day. His experience made it to where he is going for 2 half weeks this summer.

My son loves Camp Seymour! This is his fifth year and he cannot wait to go again! It is reasonably price, has clean facilities, and a friendly staff. They just need to get a bigger parking lot to accommodate all the happy campers returning!

My son had a great time last year. His cabin mate didn't get to go at the last minute, but he felt welcomed by all of the campers and staff anyway. Good activites and adventures! He really has kept the Rags and Leather program (a self-made goal setting program) in the front of his mind all year! He's excited to go back this year, too! Loved the boating, tippy canoe and morning runs around camp before a dip in the water!

My son had the best time of his life during his 5th grade camp and went back the following summer. He's still fondly recalling the memories and cannot wait to go again!
