My daughter has been to 2 other GS camps & this is her favorite. Very clean, liked showers, lake was nice, staff good. Looking fwd to new Mess Hall Lodge being built for summer 16'

Our daughter did the day camp and had an amazing time. Made new friends and learned a lot. Staff was amazing - especially for the overnight when she got homesick.

My daughter and her friend much preferred this camp to the other, more spiffier girlscout camp she stayed at last summer. It was hard for me to see why upon picking her up from camp. Very rustic, buggy. But these things didn't matter to the girls as they were incredibly happy during their seven night/eight day stay. The counselors and fun activities were the highlights. Great food, too.

Check-in is very unorganized and not friendly to families that want to get their young campers settled in. Communication is TERRIBLE. Counselors did not know how to submit campers email responses yet theprogram is strongly promoted. Took over 5 months to get a list of badgework completed. Girls slept inside during thunderstorms. Where's the value and education in that? Girl Scouts camp in all types of weather.

They really don't acre if some one gets sick. And the food is gross and the water is green. Lots of bugs! Many activies, some are boring.
