The idea is great, make art scenery all day and practice songs and dance. The children are indoors all day .I think some outdoor time would be nice even if it were for lunch, but the place doesn't offer any recreation. It is cute for 5-9 yr olds!

i remember like a year ago i went there our choreogrpher was a band teacher! weird and i didnt like the kids who went there they were were just wweird i only had like 1 friend i will never go there again

This day camp has a number of different locations in NJ. The one I went to was in a church basement in Montville. The camp sessions are only 2 weeks long-not nearly enough time to get a show together! Because of the stress, some of the staff (especially the guy who directs many of the shows) are mean. They tend to yell at people over the smallest things. Most of their staff are certified teachers, but one of the staffers that worked with my group was only 18 years old! (And she was not nice, either.) They also don't have as many staff during the summer, so personal attention suffers. Still, you get to perform for your parents at the end, and you have a cast party afterwards (pizza and soda). You get to have your makeup done just before you perform!:) You also get to help design and paint the scenery, if you go for a full day. Although it was fun at times, I only went for one summer-and for me, that was enough! I never went back.
