DO NOT enroll your child here, they will not supervise your children while in their care. They allow little children into restrooms unsupervised and that is "company policy"

I worked there during the summer of 2009, and it was a great experience. I also camped there 2 or 3 times earlier as a kid. It was a great experience then and a great experience now. I highly recommend it for camping and employment. Great work environment, great coworkers, and mostly great kids :P The pay was good, the food great (amazing for cafeteria level), the dorms weren't amazing, but they were comfortable at least. The upper level guys really helped me out whenever I needed it and the online forums between the camps help resolve any technical questions immediately. I look forward to working for them again next summer.

I worked for iD tech last year and one thing I can say about this company is that it is really driven to provide children with that hands on experience with technology that will build a platform of innovation for future endeavors. On top of these technical skills it facilitates an environment where children that are technologically inclined can meet others with similar interests and build strong relationships. This is an enriching summer experience that I urge parent to bless their child with for at least one week because the friendships that they'll build and the knowledge that they will receive will last a lifetime. The dedication of the staff, the wonderful environment that is University of Miami's campus, the various activities and the individual attention that the instructors pay to the children are all provided for a great value.

What a great experience this camp provided for my little guy.. he's an 8-yr old with a 15-yr old's mind so I am always concerned about him being challenged. ID assuaged all my concerns! His video game is too much for me to beat (and I'm sure he planned it that way!). Along with all he learned, he also learned more about being a team player during outside sports, AND he made a couple friends! Really good value for the money; he's been saving to go back this summer.

A little expensive, but worth every penny. My son sometimes doesn't "fit in" with other kids, but he had a great time and is going to ID again this summer. This time at UCF because it is closer. The other reviewer who wrote about the cell phone, they discourage them, but don't disallow them. My son brought his and just kept it in his room all day. I think he called once.

I heard good things about other locations but Miami is terrible. Inexperienced and unqualified counselors. Boring Camp. Projects are pathetic. Supplies almost non-existent. Minimal, if any, outdoor activities. All ages mixed together. Big babysitting camp for wealthy south americans looking to dump their children for the summer. Prizes at end of camp session go to kids whose parents signed them up for the most sessions. Prizes were things like big cookies. Camp owners go to Spain for summer. Can't be contacted. Counselors and camp directors "discourage" kids from bringing cell phones and contacting parents.
