2 week boarder $5k - its ridiculous that they don't provide large window fans for the rooms! It's a summer program in CT in July. I had to buy 2 at the Choate store.

I had an amazing time at Choate. I only went for two weeks, but there are also 4 and 5 week programs. The program I attended was enough work that I was learning something, but little enough that I wasn't stressed out over it, and I ha plenty of free time. In addition to class, every boarding student picks a sport, and town is a 5 minute walk away, so there is plenty to do during downtime. There were also trips on the weekend to other cities, such as NYC and Boston. People from all over the world attend the summer programs at Choate Rosemary Hall, and it was awesome to meet so many different people. I would definitely recommend this camp! :D

My summer at choate was the best summer of my life. I made amazing friends, learned a lot, and tried a lot of things. 5 weeks just flew by. I'm definitely coming back for summer 2011!

I went to this program in the summer between 7th and 8th grade. It is a summer school like thing, but way funner because there are other activities. It is held at Choate private school and is great if you want a private school experience but want to try it first. They have many different classes for middle and highschool students. students stay in the dorms or can commute and you eat it the dining hall. They have really great teachers, most of which have high degrees in their subjects. I was in the focus gold program, and it was four weeks long. we took three classes for a span of two weeks and then switched. I took physics, geometry, algebra, data collection and chemistry then after classes you can do sports. It is great becuz they give you lots of freedom. you can take a shower whenever you have time, and do whatever you want between classes. on weekends there are city trips and you can walk to walmart. I got a reasonable scholarship. I will always remember this experience

my teacher was horrible but I loved -absolutely loved the other staff members! The facilities are top notch as is the food, bt I can't speak for the monetary value b/c I got a huge scholarship!
