It is always a mess at the end of camp... Poor scouts end up after a week having to prove they attended and earned their badges... Amateur hour up there...

Really a great camp. We were there when it was very hot, but the staff was still upbeat and excited. There are some very great programs for older Scouts in the troop - they really enjoyed COPE and the mountain biking, and our boys really like the water skiing. Food was excellent - always hot and pretty good selection. We also found the adult trainings helpful. Would definetely go back if the PLC decides to - one of the best camps I have been to!

Great camp right in housier national forrest and has the second largest water front behind only seabase

I've been to many midwest USA boys scout camps and you have to go a long way to find another that matches this excellent quality.Staff,facilities,and program are top notch. Troops from Grand Rapids MI & Columbus,OH thought it was worth the trip I'd rank it as the premier BSA camp in the central US. Outstanding available trip to Patton's Cave. Pick your menu troop cooking available.

Ransburg is a fine camp, I worked there for several years, the last being '07 when I was Quartermaster. Granted the camp has it's problems (mainly in camp management), but it's still a fine camp. We still have one of the best camp staffs in the country.

Staff is really the only plus here. Waterfront center is nice and expensive, but seems somewhat of a waste. High capacity rifle range with totally inadequate berm and side cover. Very little for older scouts activity wise. With rare exceptions, the food was below average. We likely will not return here.

Camp was fun but geared to younger scouts. Not much there if you are over 14 years of age.
