Hurontario is a wonderful place where men and boys and can bond in a non competitive outdoor environment. I could not recommend it more!

This is a camp that desperately needs diversity in its counsellors. It certainly does not reflect Canada. A lost opportunity.

My son is going on his 5th adventure with Hurontario this summer. He can't wait! He's only ever had positive things to say about his time at camp.

This is my son's third year at Camp Hurontario. He absolutely loves it and I love it that he loves it so much. They have incredible staff with lots of love and warmth for the kids. The best place for a child to learn to love nature.

I went to Hurontario for nine summers, starting when I was six. It was always an amazing experience. It gave me an appreciation of nature that I have carried with me forever. I believe there is no better boys camp in the world.

My son just returned from a 3 1/2 week stay at Camp Huronatrio, his first of many! He absolutely loved his time there. And for a quiet kid, his non-stop enthusiastic description of all that he learned and all the wonderful experiences he had, and the friends that he made, has pleasantly surprised us. He can not wait to return to Hurontario next year. If one has a boy with a spirit for adventure, Hurontario is the perfect place for him.

This has been my last year going here. most of The staff like to bully kids. Several times I contemplated escaping some how but luckily I only went for two weeks. A couple times I was really close to having a nervous breakdown.

I was not impressed with this camp when my son attended. The director did not communicate well with parents. On visitor's day, there was a distinct lack of warmth and enthusiasm from the counselors and other staff. The setting is beautiful, activities seemed good but camp is about creating connections between people and on this front, they failed. If a child is struggling at camp for whatever reason, your job as camp staff is to help find ways to help, not sit and watch it happen and then judge or criticize them. Not impressed and would not recommend to others.

I went to this camp for 2 years, both years I was severly bullied by my fellow campers and in the 2nd year, by my counsellor (it's not like I'm a social outcast either, I'm considered at school and other camps one of the "popular" kids). According to friends of mine who I met after and go there, I'm a household name and the subject of many depreciating jokes amongst the campers and staff. It was a little pricey, but the activities were well worth it and the instructors (with the exeption of the lazy shooting instructor) were great! But to parents, I would not recommend sending your kids here, I and many other people (I know people who have hijacked boats to escape) had a very bad time.

Simply the best camp experience on Georgian Bay in this price range. I think it is the best all boys camp I know of.

Last year, was my first time at summer camp so I was a bit nervous. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. It was the best 2 weeks of my life! amazingingly beautiful location and lots of fun activities. If you love nature and the outdoors, this is the place for you. the owners, Polly, even come and have lunch with every kid to make sure everything is okay. She even knows everybody's names during the summer.

Camp Hurontario is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I made many of my best friends at Hurontario, and its setting, along with it's woodsy philosophy make it a great place for boys to learn and grow.

the councillors are very well chosen, the trips give the camp a very different feeling in comparison to other camps. Finally there is a large variety of activities and cookouts on on of the numerous islands the camp owns

Its a boys only camp and it has very strong history and tradition of greatness. This camp is on an island in Georgian Bay and is TRULY like no other camp. I can't wait to go back EVERY year! A fantastic summer camp experience with exceptional staff!

Wow. Been to a few camps before I decided to stay with this one. Excellent nature camp. Amazing out trips. Land and water activities are varied and challenging. Skills are built to prepare for amazing and challenging trips for older boys. Returning for year 4!

Hurontario is a great camp for boys who love to do lots of exciting activities. Hurontario has a very good tripping program. They offer many different activities such as rock climbing, archery, ropes, wind surfing, kayaking, cannoing, art and wood working. A very fun camp for any age. A great choice.
