Took my troop there now for the second year and it is an excellent camp with a wonderful program for the scouts.

Value and Quality driven staff and programming. Just the right size with quality equipment. Need to invest in better sailing equipment and weed control in the pond.Our troop was from out of council and enjoyed themselves while achieving their summer camp goals. The staff was full scout spirit and kept it a fun experience. Food was top notch #1 for scout summer programs. Thanks Christi (director),Sally (food), Ted (the ranger),Wolfgang (weather reports), Chris (daily news), Nurse Jen A, Buck on the riffle range, And the waterfront director (Name?). This camp is a diamond in the rough. Having camped here several times over the years, I can attest Custalogatown is improving year by year and is greatly under-rated. Wilderness in excess. Shooting and Archery unparalleled. Kitchen and staff greatly improved. With a dedicated contingent of volunteers, I anticipate this camp will continue to evolve into one of the GREAT scout camps. Congradulations French Creek Council! You need to promote your camp.

Personally connected to this camp. I lived here for several years and love the outdoors. This camp is great for summer camp and the endless activities it has. The terrian is great for hiking and biking and enjoying the outdoors.

I have been to several camps over the last ___ years and the staff here is as good as any the facilities are better than most - there is a good deal of personal attention in most areas and there are enough activities to keep any one busy if they do most of them.

Overall the camp is excellent in comparison with others in the region. The Rifle and Archery ranges have great equipment as well as new buildings to instruct from. The Staff is great and very helpful to the campers. Evening activities were enjoyed by the the whole troop.

ive gone to this camp for many years and i am now a counselor this year and the camp is great and other counselors are very kind and show no bias at all overall ive had the best childhood memories at this camp hope this helps

very good camp, but some of the counselors are bias if they are from the same troop. the programs are great and the foods been getting better.
