The staff does NOT know how to work with kids. Reminds me more of a boarding school than an actual summer camp

I have twins: a boy and a girl. Both have been at Nageela for 3 summers. They begged to return for a 4th summer, and they are already pre-registered. Needless to say, they LOVE it. The friendships last and last. They both attend winter reunion and Shabbatons. Boys activities are much more athletic oriented. My son loves the Wilderness program. Air conditioned bunks and dinning room. Food is OK, but not great. The lake being on the other side of the road is somewhat of an issue, but thank G-d, no one has ever been hurt. Plenty of activities and campers are always kept busy. The teen program gives them enough "free space" for them to grow as individuals. Wife and I are glad that we send our children to Camp Nageela. It is cheap enough and there is good value here. Jewish learning is important to us, and the camp does provide ample opportunity to learn and grow. Camper/staff ratio is quite good.

I did not enjoy my experience here. When I had a problem I had no help, and was often bullied and got no help from counslers. The pools were disgusting and I found having to cross a highway to access the lake, very dangerous. However, I did enjoy the trampolines and the food. This summer at my current camp I begged to stay, visiting day at camp Nageela made me cry to go home. I'm sure that people who enjoy modern camps may enjoy, but I love the real camp experience, and air conditioned bunks don't feel that way. If I wanted air conditioners and modernized rooms, I would pay 1/2 of this price and go to a resort.

nageeeela is the BEST!!!! had the time of my life. will never go anywhere else. gr8 activities and awsome sports. felt right at home the minute I got off the bus. made tons of new friends. cant wait to see everyone next year. its amazing how they have people of so many different backgrounds, and we all get along great (most of the time anyways). got this cool beanbag chair for signing up for next summer.

GR8 CAMP.......... Food= :-( but the rest is OKK.... btw, 100% RELIGIOUS camp if u do not want a religious camp for ur child do not send her to camp nageela....... BUT if u do want a religious campp THEN GO TO CAMP NAGEELA...... BEST CONCULERS IN THE WORLDDDDD<333333333 i luved my conculers SOOO NICE AND KIDD, they have cool bunks and a lot of pranksss :-) LOL byeee

Nageela is the coolest place on earth!!! How many other summer camps have paintball and indoor AND outdoor pools??? Shabbos in nageela is awesome!!!! The counselors and staff are so much fun!! The food is awesome! And they have ducks and goats and sheep and birds and roosters and chickens!!! Nageela has the coolest night activities, the coolest color war, the coolest trips, the coolest sports, the coolest leagues, the coolest counselors (maybe even shaya hecht), and the coolest year-round get-togethers. Camp never ends cause we have cool weekend retreats at least once a month!! There is even an awesome e-mail every week that everyone should respond to and send in material for!!! THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT NAGEELA IS TRULY THE COOLEST PLACE ON EARTH AND ON A SCALE FROM 1-5 IT RATES A GOOGAPLEX!! NAGEELA RULES!!

I've been to many camps and this camp is by far the best. The staff rocks and camper- staff ratio is such that you get so much attention. I wish I could rate higher than 5's. And air conditioned bunks! nothing beats that. Sports, swimming, special activities, night activities and even paintball! Camp Nageela Forever!!!!
