They need to do a better job of putting multiple-week campers together in cabins so there isnt so much transition within the living conditions. Also, more cabin bonding time would be good.

They accept too many campers and can't pay attention to individual camper. Very cliquey.

I spent 9 summers at CSL and I don't regret a single one! It is where I met my best friends, found my spiritual center, and learned to value and respect nature. The programming there is some of the best you will find, especially the annual Color War which you have to see or experience to believe! Another thing that I loved about CSL is that I was able to explore my faith in a no pressure zone. Camp offers Kosher-style dining, Judaic/Israel programming, prayers at meals, and simple but beautiful Friday and Saturday services. I am extremely grateful for Camp Seneca Lake and will continue to sing its praises!

Great camp for my first-time camper. He arrived two days late and they made him right at home. No religious snobbery. No class issues. No race issues. Just lots of fun. He didn't want to leave.

I love CSL! So fun...but some of the kids are really jappy. I have mostly had a good camp experience, but some of the girls were not so nice to me my first few years...

CSL is an amazing camp with the most knowledgable and caring staff. I have yet to see a camper who hasn't had the best summer ever and each summer only gets better. At camp you will find a balanced program incorporating all the major activity areas (arts and crafts, athletics, drama, sing, pool, nature, and waterfront) as well as faith based education from the Judaica staff and Israeli specialists. In keeping with the Jewish faith CSL holds Shabbat services and runs Kosher dining services. You will not regret sending your child to CSL and the kids will be begging to return every summer.
