Click to report rating    4/24/14   4     4     4     3     3   My son had a wonderful time. The only downfall was the heat, but after 1/2 a day he was fine. He came back with wonderful stories to tell. I have referred 3 campers since then, and all have returned for 2nd summers. It is a short time and the camp a bit rustic, but the experiance and friendships were lasting. RID: 47233

Click to report rating    5/16/11   5     5     5     5     5   This camp is great, and the property is amazing! I took my students here and we were not only pleased with the activities, but the staff was great too! RID: 35903
Click to report rating    2/23/11   2     2     5     3     3   My daughter attended this camp last summer and hated it. She said, the best part was the chapel time, the view and water sport activities. The worst part was no air-conditioning (b/c of budget cuts,) the ants crawling all over her face at night when she slept, the counselors bullying the kids with funny and not so funny jokes, being left in the cabin alone in the middle of the night b/c of the counselor leaving at night to do "whatever I don't know." The worst story I heard was the campers/children having to lick/slurp up spills of the cafeteria's floor if you spill your things. No cell phones allowed, considering what takes place here. I would NEVER send any of my children to this camp and would not recommend to anyone unless your child is totally tough and likes to rough it. This is more like camping. I couldn't believe my ears when she told me these stories, I was reminded to write a review when I received my flyer for the camp this year. RID: 35183
