the pitcher/catcher camp is amazing. You learn so many different skills both as a pitcher and a catcher. The best part is you are learnign from recent college grads/ current college players, so you never feel like they are talking down to you. the only thing i would say that isnt great is that they don't have the pitchers and catchers work together all too much. Best run softball camp in the country, and this 20+ year veteran of girls softball coaching has seen a lot of camps! Instruction was personal to each camper's level of ability and personal areas of improvement. Almost all instructors are members of the UMASS Softball team. These women were friendly, approachable, professional, and whole-heartedly determined to helping my players improve! I've sent players to Elaine Sortino's Softball School for the past 3 years, and each of my players has returned with a head full of inspiration, and a head start on the pathway towards Division I mechanics. This camp is definitely mechanically enhancing, but most importantly, my players returned from Softball School with an inspired desire to pursue their love of softball at the Division I collge level. I encourage all coaches, parents, and players to check out UMASS's Elaine Sortino Softball School!

This is a great camp for girls who want to learn more about softball. Pitchers work with pitchers and catchers work with catchers and just about all of the staff played on the UMASS softball team!
