I began attending Gander Brook in 1965. Brother Arnold and Brother Ritchie were prominate teachers at the time. I attended each year until I was 18, was baptized by Brother Ritchie in 1965. All of my children have attended Gander Brook, my grand daughter will be able to attend as a camper for the first time this year. She is learning the camp song,(which I am not sure they still sing.) Gander Brook offers children and adults a place of "Perfect Peace jn this dark world of Sin". As my son Jeremy put it as we left camp when he was just 9, "Mom, I don't want to go home. It is so much easier to be a Christian when you are here at Gander Brook." All the burdens of the world melt away when you pass through the Ganderbrook Gate. Thank you, Lord for this Blessing. Linda Sterner & Family.

The best times of my childhood were spent at Ganderbrook making life-long friendships while learning and growing in my faith. You feel safe and loved there while having a blast swimming, playing soccer, campfires, skits, it has it all. I plan on my kids attending when they are old enough.

Great place that is a little run down. Best value for your bucks, but the staff is a little lacking.

This camp has changed my life, i have grown in so many ways, Not only have i grown reliously i have made life long friendships. I have become a better person. It is the highlight of my year. Each week has something different to offer. The junior weeks are all fun and always has something to do, less freedom, but that is beacause there is younger children, The senior weeks, are a complete different expcerience. The give you more freedom and choices. It is a place where most are friendly welcoming and kind. i highly recomend you go.

One of the most beautiful camps you could go to. a place that will change your life for the better, you will make life long friendships. awesome campfires. sports, ropes courses, archery, b.b. guns. rifles, and many other activities. Ganderbrook has its own waterfront property with canoes, a swimming raft, boat launch and its very own island. The lodge is home to the camp mascot the moose, who lives above the giant stone fireplace. the lodge is a log timber framed structure that will drop your jaw with its beauty. Ganderbrook sits on over 200 wooded acres in beautiful Raymond Maine. As you can see i love Ganderbook, its made a huge impression on my life and on the lives of many of my friends and family. i strongly recommend Ganderbrook to anyone. Christian or not. Ganderbrook has something for everyone. Please check it out, its well worth the time. Hope to see you there this summer.

Gander Brook is AMAZING and home to so many people. The counselors are all devout Christians, and we have the best Bible teachers and staff around. Each year, OVU's Express, Harding's Theatron, and other guests come to perform. Camp is our safe haven, and we pray that it will stay open for many years to come. This year (2006) was the 50th anniversary. We celebrated by "Jubilee Week". Please get in touch with someone via the website, and consider coming to Gander Brook!

This camp costs virtually nothing, making it possible to attend. Although not exclusive, Gander Brook is run and used mostly by members of the Church of Christ. Counselors usually come from the following colleges: Harding University, Ohio Valley Univerisity, and Freed Hardemen University.
