I have had the incredible opportunity to be involved with Camp Wenonah over the past 18 seasons, as a camper, a staff member, a teacher and an alumni. While the programs are fun, creative and engaging, the magic of Camp Wenonah is grounded in it's community. The staff are highly skilled, compassionate educators who take exceptional care of their campers. Immediately campers and students alike feel at home. The community inspires campers to challenge themselves to reach new goals and to experience growth as an individual and as a global citizen. As a member of a team of teachers bringing students to Wenonah this past fall, I was delighted by the staffs intuition into our boys' needs and their ability to forge strong connections from the time we arrived on site. I would never second guess a recommendation to Wenonah, both for parents and schools.

Wenonah stands far above the rest when it comes to quality of program and staff. I wouldn't trust any other camp with my children. This is my daughter's second year at Wenonah and as a former staff member I can attest to the high level of training and attention that goes into ensuring every camper has a quality experience. Wenonah is a truly special place and you feel it the minute you arrive on site.

Wenonah offers an unparalleled camp environment. As a former camper and staff member I can attest to the quality of experience, from programming to facilities and food service. Camp Wenonah is responsible for some of my fondest memories and lasting friendships. I couldn't imagine spending a summer anywhere else!

Simply the best! I have been involved with Camp Wenonah for 20 years as a camper, staff member, camp doctor and alumni. Camp Wenonah is my home away from home. Many of my best friendships were made at camp. Camp Wenonah has also helped shape who I as a person with its supportive environment where I learned to feel good in my own skin and felt safe to make mistakes and learn from them. The food is top notch. The counsellors (many of whom were previous campers) are well chosen and well trained. The selection of activities is extensive. The property is beautifully maintained. The directors are fabulous and work to make sure that every camper has a fabulous experience. I can't wait to send my kids to camp Wenonah.

I was a camper for five years, and on staff for two. There are so many positive things about Camp Wenonah I could list - the site is gorgeous, the programming and activities are fun and awesome, it's a safe place for kids to grow and really experience the best of Canadian nature - but what really sets Camp Wenonah apart is the people. The staff and campers really truly care about camp, and that's a tone that's set at the top. Camp Wenonah continues to grow and change for the better - there's no better place for the summer.

Amazing food and staff. Once my parent's saw my personal growth after returning from a month here, they wouldn't imagine sending me anywhere else. I returned to them, happier, healthier, and full of positive memories and experiences to tell them about.

Amazing place! Having attended Camp Wenonah both as a camper and staff member, I cannot speak highly enough about the incredible experience camp gave me as a camper and staff member.
I am so excited for my kids to experience the same joy I did as a camper. Wenonah will always hold a special place in my heart.

Attended as a camper for 7 years. Worked as a staff member for parts of 7 years. Have been there in spring, summer, and fall. Simply a little slice of heaven. Great staff group; gorgeous, well maintained property; awesome programming; and the most supportive and welcoming camp environment I have encountered. I entered camp a shy, homesick 10-year old, and left a confident university grad with an amazing support network.

I have been fortunate to experience Camp Wenonah from both a parent and a teacher perspective. My children have attended this camp for the past four years and each year come back with many incredible memories and stories about the amazing staff, facility, food, and experiences that they have enjoyed and learned from. I am also lucky enough to be able to be a part of a teaching team that brings up over 150 boys from grades 3-6 for a week long camp experience each fall. The outdoor centre staff are experienced and well-equipped to handle every little detail to ensure each child in their care has the opportunity to grow and try new adventures never before experienced. The staff also go out of their way to nurture positive and lasting connections with both the students and the staff. Thanks, Camp Wenonah - can't wait to see you all soon!

I've had experience with Camp Wenonah both as a summer camp, and as an Outdoor Education Centre (ie: field trips for schools). The site is beautiful! Rugged Muskoka location with comfortable amenities provides the best balanced experience as far as safety and adventure. While the activities offered are fun, it is the staff and their attention to children that is most impressive. Kids really respond to these young adults who are clearly passionate and dedicated to their camp!

Camp Wenonah is a remarkable camp that offers a safe, caring, and positive community in which campers can challenge themselves with new activities and gain new skills. The staff go through exceptional staff training and it shows! They are a team of fun, caring, creative individuals who care so much for the campers and the site. The chef and kitchen team are committed to serving yummy, balanced, family-style meals in the communal lodge. Campers have the chance to try a huge variety of activities designed for all ages and abilities, while enjoying the natural setting. The Camp really creates a community feel and fosters a great appreciation of nature. The site is beautiful and well-cared for. From camp-fires, to canoeing, to sing-a-long lunches, I have made so many memories at Wenonah that I will cherish forever. I know this place has given countless campers a positive and lasting camp experience. I would recommend it in a heartbeat!!

An incredible place! The staff are remarkable- passionate, responsible, caring, compassionate, skilled and fun! The location is spectacular, the activities are top notch and the programming is intentional and well prepared. The food is tasty and prepared by an experienced and caring chef and kitchen team. Would recommend Wenonah to family and friends without hesitation! Just love this place and all it stands for and all it gives to campers and their families.

Certainly not the experience we paid for for our child. After receiving many text messages regarding: undercooked food, partially frozen food, reused/stale food, hair in the food, limited food for kids with dietary restrictions, disorganized activities, poor accommodations, I went and read the most recent reviews. Unfortunately, they all said the same thing I was hearing. Where is the chef advertised in the flyer we received? The safe food handling practices? The great camp memories? There is also no medical staff on site. Had I known this I would not have allowed my child to go. The reviews I read in the spring, prior to paying for this trip, were good. Whatever has changed between then and now needs to be fixed. We trusted you to provide a quality experience for our child. Very disappointed.

An award-winning chef was supposed to be responsible for our food but I'm not sure what type of awards he won considering he re-used food, served uncooked frozen entrees, and had a kitchen staff who never wore hair nets resulting in hair found in our recycled food. The menu that was advertised was not delivered which, as a teacher, makes it embarrassing when you are giving parents information about what to expect and the camp falls very short of these expectations. Supervisors beware! There is no medical staff on site and you are expected to supervise your students 24 hours a day. Some activities you have to practically run on your own, depending on the counsellor you get (ex. at tennis, the students were handed tennis balls and rackets and instructed to play while the counsellor sat on her chair and relaxed). Some of the counsellors were great but they have a very young staff that sometimes needs to learn how to respect the people who are bringing the kids to camp.

OMG!!!! This was my first year at camp Wenonah and I absolutly loved it like crazy. It was by far the best camp ever. The food is AMAZING, the people are super nice and everything about it is incredible. I made so many great friends there too. Also, the games are super fun and I cried when I had to leave. I recommend this camp for everyone, except for maybe really young kids cause they do get homesick!!! WENONAH is my life!!!<3

Amazing Camp!!!! Everyone is so nice and makes everything extremely fun. Staff are so cool. Very good with food accomidations. It starts at age 7, 2 years of years of leader ship starting at 16 and staff at 18. Its the best camp ever. The owner jeff is the best and really kind.Its like a home away from home.

Absolutely an amazing camp. The counselors are very well trained, and actually care about the camp. Activities are generally very fun, and they try to get everyone involved. I will say however that the activities do get a little more boring the older you get, but you can still find things to do. The washrooms can be a little messy, and might do with a bit more frequent cleanups. The toilets are regularly clogged, but that's generally from user error. All other facilities are generally kept in excellent running condition. The food has gotten so much better with the new cooking staff. BRAD YOU ARE THE MAN! Jeff does an amazing job with this camp. It really is his passion, and he shows it regularly. This camp is absolutely worth the money. I have met so many people, and forged so many memories over the last nine years. I cannot imagine my life without THIS camp and my POLARIS year only promises to be better. Would absolutely recommend this camp.

I have spent many summers at Wenonah & I must say the food has gotten much better. The cabins are perfect for camp - a happy medium b/w luxury accomodations & tents. I love Camp Wenonah because it is filled with great people(of all ages) who make camp so fun. It provides the opportunity to do activities that I can't do in the city. It is a safe place where I don't have to worry about nething & can just be myself. Canoe trips are the best, Wenonah Games & Cabin Challenge are amazing (AKI, aaa-aki,aaa-aki, aaaaaki),the staff are awesome, & the friends you make will last a lifetime. Wenonah has opened my eyes to all of the things we should appreciate in this world: nature, people, culture, teamwork, food, friends, ourselves, positive attitudes, music, art, dance, theatre, sailing, canoeing, any other activity that is relaxing, fires, time, family, and of course LIFE. I have learned many things, met many people, made tons of memories,& appreciate many things in life thanks to Wenonah.

This camp really changed my life. Sure, washrooms could have been better but food was okay, esp vegetarian food. Counselors are VERY well trained. I went here for 7 years and grew up so much every summer. Made the best friends in the WORLD here. Totally worth the money. The camp is beautiful, well maintained. JEFF BRADSHAW OWNS! POLARIS year is the BEST YEAR EVER! EVERYONE SHOULD DO POLARIS!

The food and toilets were really bad, especially the toilets. But the staff were well trained and helpful. The cabins were small for 12 people and not in good condition. Activities were variable in entertainment, some were fun some were boring. Overall I don't think I got my monies worth out of the camp.

I attended camp wenonah for 4 years and it was my first camp now i have a job and i cannot return for the 2007 season and i am very sad. this camp will always be a huge part of my life i think the best part was wenonah games and if people from wenonah read this they will know exactly who i am I love aki and i am the only person who wrote the scores down other then jeff i love you camp wenonah.

last year was my fith year and i think that i would be a differnt person if i didnt go. when i go it releases all my stress and i dont have to think about school or anythign............it has great programs and ah great staff liek jefff! i sugest you go rite now! send in your forms............best camp i have ever been 2

I've attended this camp every summer for the past 6 years. I can no longer and I am going to miss it a lot. It's been such a large part of my life and I wouldn't want anything more in a camp. I will miss it so much. Highly reccommended.
