Click to report rating    8/14/17   5     4     5     5     5   My daughter loves this camp! It's a nurturing environment with a caring staff. The bus to camp is a nice air conditioned Academy bus with a bathroom. The activities are great and even include a farm to table cooking class. Horseback riding is offered off site, but he facility is lacking a lake. RID: 51232
Click to report rating    7/9/15   1     1     1     1     1   They pay their counselors well below minimum wage and they give no direction to their specialists who they treat as very replaceable. The premise of the camp does not allow children to fully acclimate with an activity because they only spend 30 min at an activity once a week. Horrible experience. Would not recommend RID: 48848
Click to report rating    1/17/13   3     3     3     3     2   O.K. camp. Kids are well off, but lack manners. They can be insulting and no one cares. Counselors are sweet and energetic, but some forget they're counselors in an attempt to be fun. Overpriced for what it is. Facilities out of the city is the best aspect.Save your money. RID: 43421
Click to report rating    7/26/12   1     4     3     1     1   Terrible experience. Camp is completely overcrowded (max was supposed to be 150 kids in one unit and they have 230+). Camp is run like an overcrowded city school. Kids are not allowed to be kids - everything they do is a "safety issue" that has to be dealt with. We come there from the JCC but unfortunately it seems that the 92nd St Y is calling all the shots (and they are not good ones). Facilities are nice but the activities are not always a good experience because they have to shepherd kids like cattle, rushing them from place to place so they are not late. Counselors from the JCC are clueless, too laid back and not watching anything. Every time there is an incident nobody can explain exactly what happened. RID: 42107

THANK YOU SO MUCH JANSON FOR SUMMERS 2007-2009 AND LAUREN WEXLER FOR SUMMERS 2007-2010.CAMP YOMI IS THE BEST DAY CAMP EVER (I STARTED AT AGE 6 AND IM STILL DOING IT AND IT IS AWESOME). RID: 33684
Click to report rating    1/29/10   4     4     5     4     4   This is an overall very good day camp. Both my daughters went last summer and are returning this summer. Young children really learn how to swim here. It is an old fashioned camp with rustic facilities. Great for city kids. RID: 31987
Click to report rating    11/17/07   4     2     5     4     5   This camp was really fun. I had so much fun and made so many friends, I was really sad to leave. All the staff members also worked really hard to make sure we had fun. The only downside was that, when it rained, the only shelter we had was our age group's "shelter" which is a cement platform with a roof over it and no walls. All we could do was sit in it and make lanyard. RID: 17147
