Most of the staff generally seem friendly and welcoming. The employers however are toxic and the staff training is run very poorly and the staff are not given enough of the proper resources to succeed throughout the summer. The general program management is disorganized and the camp itself seems to be pushing itself over the limit just to fill more camper beds which in turn leads to campers not being able to be properly supervised.

Camp Farley holds a special place in my heart, and it wouldn't have been the same without the incredible counselors, Owen and Theo. As a camper, I can confidently say that my time at Camp Farley was nothing short of amazing, thanks to their unwavering dedication, enthusiasm, and genuine care for every camper's experience.

I was a counselor at this camp and was emotionally tortured by the other staff for a whole summer, only to find out the last night was because I don’t drink alcohol. Still haunts me years later - the Camp Director (Joyce Oberthal) let it happen. Do not recommend as a place of employment.

We are here the first summer after the new management. Everyone seems nice and friendly but honestly my kids don't want to go back (I have 5 attending of various ages). Completely disorganized. My children are uncomfortable with the foul language and sexual comments other campers do (in the 9-12yo group). The campers are divided into groups, but they aren't necessarily by age and there isn't one counselor for each group... so my 8 year old felt completely lost and confused for most of the day- and normally she is quite a capable young lady. My boys, who are normally oblivious to other people's needs, noticed how harried the counselors appeared. Truthfully, I don't think it is for lack of trying, but when the structure doesn't allow them to be successful, the kids start to rule the camp. Overall, this is one of the worst camp experiences we have ever had and will not be returning.

This is the best camp ever! My daughter loves everything there. Everyone is so welcoming, and she never wants to leave! Last year she was supposed to go for one week, but at the Friday ceremony, she asked to go next week, and the amazing Joyce let her go! She was so happy! I recommend this camp to all children

Camp Farley is a magical place for kids, they can play, learn, meet friends and be outside whole day long. Camp Farley has the most beautiful waterfront . My kids love Camp Farley. Best camp ever:))))

My daughter has gone to Camp Farley for four years. She loves the programs and adventures that she gets to choose from each day. She has really enjoyed the horse riding program. Also, she thinks the staff are great as they are very friendly and fun. I like how the cabin counsellors welcome the kids into their cabin for the week and spend time and effort to make sure that the kids have a great experience. When I show up for the end of week ceremony my daughter never wants to come over to me, nevermind leave the camp. She has had fabulous experiences there each year. I wish I was a child so I could attend camp too!

I am so grateful for the magical place that is Camp Farley! I brought my niece there for 3 summers (10 years ago) and now my own children go. The Camp Director is a teacher and she is a really special soul. She knows how to make the Camp experience a wonderful childhood memory! Highly recommended.

My son came home traumatized from this camp after he was put in a cabin with much older boys. He was twelve at the time and the other boys were 14-16. He reported being taunted and deliberately frightened by the other campers in his cabin. I have asked him about a million times if anything else happened but he insists it was just unkind teen behavior towards him, but he still tears up whenever I bring it up two years later. He refused to talk about it at all for at least a month after camp ended so there was no way we could discuss it with anyone at the camp. Not recommended. He did report that there were many more girls than boys and the girls seemed to enjoy it. He also had a good time the first two weeks he went when he was in a cabin with kids his age and younger (10-12). If you do send your child to this camp, be mindful that he/she is placed with children of the same age or younger rather than much older children.

Thrilled! We have 2 boys who are very different! This was their 1st overnight camp.My younger one had a complete blast! He is a very social athlete w/a big heart. My older one got off on the wrong foot.He is not the easiest kid to get along with.He is a very rigid kid who prefers sleeping late and video games.I was thrilled when he actually agreed to attend! On day 3 we received a call from camp.My older son was completely over reacting to an incident that involved another boy in his cabin. My son was shouting at me on the phone"get me out of here!" I told him "Nope...part of camp is dealing with different kids. You don't have to be best friends with everyone. If you find someone offensive, you need to seek out the proper adult/counselor & properly communicate to the kid how you feel. Not beg for mommy & daddy to get you out of there!"That was the last we heard. We sent e-mails each day w/advice on getting along w/others.Lastly,they both sobbed on the ride home because the didn't want leave!

Amazing camp in Cape Cod Mashpee.Coming from Europe and this was very good place to choose. Very nice atmosphere and activities for less. I can recommend it to all the children around the world. Will go whenever possible to come again. Thanks to the staff. Very traditional and experienced camp.

Awesome overnight camp on the Cape!!! You do all the stuff you could possibly think of at a camp! The only bad thing about it was that the bathrooms were sort of gross and not very large.
