i have attended this camp for six years and it is by far the best camp i have ever been to. i love every aspect of this camp. the staff, campers,activities and overall atmosphere are amazing. i wish i could stay at this camp all year.The director is especially amazing. I LOVE JAY HADDAD. storm neville p.s please consider actually attending this camp the best TIMES OF MY LIFE WERE HAD HERE. NO EXAGGERATION.

I was a camper for 6 years at bellaleo and am now looking forward to being a C.I.T next summer, I think about camp everyday and how much it influenced my life. The staff at Bellaleo are amazing and they truly make camp as good as it is. At camp i have created memories and friendships that i know will last a life time. Bellaleo is my home school is just a 10 month filler.

began my time at Bellaleo as a camper. I returned for my sixth year a counselor in training which lead me to become a cabin counselor. Eventually I became a member of the senior staff. I returned year after year because I had made many friends that at I would only see at camp. Now as an adult I still stay in contact with many camp friends. Some of whom today are definitely my dearest friends. I also returned because I was able to do activities that I otherwise would not be able to do in the city (Toronto) such as canoing, archery and sing at campfires. Bellaleo embraces all people from different social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. Living in close quarters with different people taught me a lot about respecting their individuality as well as their belongings. I also learned how to respect my surrounding environment and how to keep it beautiful. The leadership I gained at Bellaleo helps me personally and professionally every day.

This is the best camp I have ever gone to. I have gone to camps since I was 6 years old, my first time a Bellaleo was the time of my life, I have been going there for 5 years now and that time at camp is what I wish I could be doing all year long. Bellaleo is my favorite place to spend my summers. -Bolton

Anyone who wants to send their child to summer camp should really consider Bellaleo and check out their website. I loved the activities they had like kayaking and archery and the leaders were amazing! The washrooms are getting old but I think they are getting new ones. The camp is cheap compared to other places and because it has a smaller number of campers there is way more one on one attention with the leaders.

Bellaleo<3 how i miss it i've only been gone a year and it hurts soo much, bellaleo was a part of my life for over 10 years and i also had family that went there as well. i dont think there is a better place to grow and become the person you want to be, the staff are amazing and noone can ever thank you for how much HARD work u put into the camp, i know!! lol there are many new things to try and amazing times to have.. Time of your lives..

I have called Camp Bellaleo my home since I was 12. Coming up through the ranks, first as a camper, than a counsellor in training, to staff and now senior staff, I've shared countless, indescribable summers with the people who are truly my best friends. I don't really have any words to explain what camp continues to mean to me, just feelings. From the excitement and anticipation of driving through the camp gate for the first time each June, to the heartache of leaving at the end of each August, I live for these summers, and the memories and friendships they bring. It’s not something you can put into words; it’s something you have to experience, to really understand. It’s these moments that keep me warm on the coldest of January nights, waiting and wanting to be with my “family” at Bellaleo. Camp Bellaleo has never been my “home away from home”, or my “second home”, but always MY HOME. My heart will always belong there, in the warm summer sun.

I love this camp. There are amazing so many amazing people and its a beutiful place to be. Ive been in that camp for four years and ive never had a problem with it. If your looking to go to camp Bellaleo, its the place to go!

Camper and First year C.I.T... there are honestly no words to describe Bellaleo. It changed my life and who I am. I am a better person for sure because of the amazing summers and unforgettable people I have experienced there. Best thing that could have ever happened to me..

I started going to Camp Bellaleo when I was 10. At first I was shy, but that didnt last long at all!!!! Because the C.I.Ts are close to our age, we can talk to them about ANYTHING and they get it. I'm still going to Camp Bellaleo and I will for the rest of my life! Going to Bellaleo is really important to me for too many reasons to name! Camp gave me so many experiences i wouldn't get to experience if I didn't go. After going to camp I feel more responsible and free to be who I want to be! I LOVE IT!!

I Wa A Camper And A C.I.T. I Really Enjoyed It I Went From The Age Of 7 Untill I Was Almost 18, Then I Was A C.I.T. At 19. It Was A Really Good Experience And One Of My Few Good Memories. The Staff Are Great & Are Very Caring, Helpful & Understanding. I Wish I Could Go Back.

Bellaleo is the most amazing place in the world. I have attended Bellaleo for the past four summers as a camper and i have had the time of my life. The staff is absolutly amazing, thye are always there to talk and since it is a smaller camp you have to oppertunity to create really stong connections with them. I have met some of the most amazing people at camp, people that i will be friends with for the rest of my life. I love everything about camp like canoeing, kayaking, swimming, bellaleo live preformances, arts and crafts, but espically camp fire! I would not be the person i am today if it wasnt for Bellaleo. It's showed me that i can be myself and not care what other people think. I just love everything about Bellaleo and every year it gets better and better. Bellaleo will always have a place in my heart.So if you are looking to send your child(ren) to camp then Bellaleo is the place to go. No matter what they will have an amazing time.

I was eight when I first went to Bellaleo. I remember being so nervous about being away from home. However, Bellaleo was an amazing camp and I begged my mom to go back every year. I spent 15 years at Bellaleo, and they are some of the best memories of my life. It's a smaller camp and I met life long friends. I would highly recommend Camp Bellaleo and hope one day to be able to send my children there too.

Camp Bellaleo holds a very special place in my heart. I would not be the person I am today if it weren't for the 14 summers I spent there. I was a camper, CIT, Counsellor, and eventually Program Director for my last 4 years.
To describe life at Bellaleo is difficult because you can never truly know what Bellaleo means until you experience it yourself. Every summer is a new learning experience and what I've learned from Bellaleo is priceless. It was at Bellaleo where I was able to just be myself and not worry about being judged or having to impress anyone. Every child has the right to express themselves and to be an individual.
Almost all of the staff were at one time campers at Bellaleo and are very much like a family. If you're looking to send your child to their first summer camp, Bellaleo is the place.

I started off as a camper, but proceeded to be in the CIT program, and then camp councilor. This camp is a very special place that had a direct influence in how I live my life - in a very positive way. This camp not only allows kids to have fun through numerous activities scheduled throughout the day (canoeing, swimming, arts&crafts, evening games etc) but also provides life-long friendships at the end of the day. Because it is smaller in size than most camps, Bellaleo staff can cater to individuals and their needs, while at the same time establishing strong bonds with their campers. All staff is trained in emergency procedures - prior to start of camp each year there is a week-long mandatory training program - your childs safety is priority #1. This is a very magical camp that is highly regarded by all past staff and campers, and I truly recommend it for your child. aj.

This camp has been my life for years now. I was a camper, a C.I.T, and a councellor and it has been some of the best summers of my life. For 10 months of the year we count down for those precious 2 months that are spent at Bellaleo. The staff are amazing, well trained individuals who know exactly what camping is about. And the campers are indescribable. The children are the most amazing people I have every met. They are what makes camping and being a councellor as rewarding as it is. Swimming, archery, canoeing, camp fires, performances, meals, and quality time together, this camp has everything. Bellaeo truly does let everyone, staff, volunteers, and campers, have the time of their lives.

I have been going to this camp for five years now. Three as a camper and two as a C.I.T. The summers I have spent at Bellaleo have shaped my life in a positive way. I have learned much about myself, during the months I have spent there. There are several excellent activities, including canoeing, kayaking, biking, swiming, creative play and arts and crafts. However, I always seem to remember the people I have met and the time I have spent with them. I remember the good times and bad times we have shared. I remember the ups and downs of individuals, cabins and the entire camp. The campers and staff make the camp so much more then activities. The whole goal of the camp is to learn how to co-operate with yourself, others and your enviroment. And at the end you come out feeling good about yourself and feeling good about the people you have shared the time with. Camp Bellaleo, is a place to learn and grow, and just be yourself.

By far the best summer camp I have ever seen in terms of the experience for the children. Huge focus on building self-esteem and learning to be a better person while also offering all the traditional camp experiences such as canoeing, kayaking, archery, sailing, basketball, swimming, arts and crafts, creative play etc.
