My daughter sustained a bad concussion a week before start of camp and was not able to attend. While we did not expect a refund, we finally made contact with Bill Gaudette and let him know so perhaps another camper could go. I only asked that he send the T-shirt and any printed material to my daughter so she could at least have that. Bill Gaudette never sent the T-shirt, never sent the printed material. Bill Gaudette never answered any of my dozen calls, and never answered any of my voicemails or emails. Again, I never mentioned a refund of money; I only wanted the measly T-shirt that he said he would send, and he couldn't even do that. East Coast Field Hockey and Bill Gaudette are not class acts.

My daughter attended this camp with her team last year and enjoyed it, although there were complaints from others that they didn't learn anything. This year her team is scheduled to attend again; however we recently found out that she tore her ACL and is not allowed to play sports for 6 months. Despite three months notice and a doctors note they would not give us a refund. When they say no refunds they mean no refunds regardless of the reason. DO NOT SIGN UP for this camp if there is ANY chance that your athlete might get hurt - they are completely unsympathetic.

This was my first time at East Coast and I enjoyed every minute of it. I attended the Junior Academy. I made so many friends and learned new skills that have made me a better player. The coaches arevery hands-on and friendly. They come up with great training drills that improve your technique. The food was just amazing. I also enjoyed the planned session times. It was hot, so sessions were long and tiring, but by the time the inbetween and meal breaks were over, I was ready and excited to go back out and train. I liked how the coaches and counselors trusted us living on our own on the campus. The dorms were nice and roomy and the airconditioning was a must after the long sessions in the sun. However, we found several bugs. Their athrooms were exceptional. Lastly, the turf field was amazing and we always had enough to drink. I also quite enjoyed the individual evaluation we got, so we know what we r good at and what weneed to improve on. Definitely Going back next summer!!!!

Absolutely an amazing camp. The international coaching staff is amazing and there's a very good camper to coach ratio. Contrary to the other review, the camps are very professional and very intense. I learned more in a week at this camp than I ever had before. Highly recommend this camp!

I would like to share my bad experience with East Coast Field Hockey (ECFH). My daughter never attended the field hockey camp because she was asked to attend several College camps and also made the New York State Empire Games Team, so she had to withdraw from the camp. I asked for a refund prior to ECFH cashing my deposit check and given the circumstances I would have thought and expected them to refund my deposit. I know that their website says "No Refunds" but given the case that they didn't cash the check at the time of my request I would have expected to receive the return of my check. This hasn't been to case to date. ECFH is very unprofessional. The Owner Bill Gaudette will not return my telephone calls or emails. Beware
