Coppercreek provided a great first sleepaway summer camp experience for our 9-year old daughter. The riding program was superb, and the counselors and staff were very warm and encouraging. Our daughter loved it so much she wants to go back for month next summer. We particularly like the smaller camp design (which allows for a closer community feeling and tighter supervision by the directors) and the fact that the camp promotes individual learning rather than aggressive competition. In addition, the camp seems to have more diversity than some of the other sleepaway camps we looked at in California. This place is a gem.

I was a camper for 8 summers and on staff for 2 more during college. Some of the best experiences of my life took place there. I will definitely be sending my children there.

It was an AWESOME camp. I only got to go for a week, but I wish I could have gone longer. Everybody is extremely nice there, especially the other campers. go here, you'll have a blast. The facilities work like they should, you have to go to an activity with somebody you know though.

Fun place to work. They really take care of their counselors and in general a happy staff will mean a better experience for your child.
