This camp was ok. However, it was not the best summer I had. Some of the girls can be very mean and the counselors did not pay much attention to how homesick I was feeling. It was weird, because I had gone to a camp previous to this with no feelings of homesickness at all. The activities are fun and there are many of them, but the counselors teaching the activities treat you like babies. The evening activities were tortures and boring. The food, however, it very good and the owners are extremely nice. If you go to this camp, I would suggest going for only half session. That's all I went for and I had had enough of it by the time I left. If I was forced to stay there for any longer, I would not be able to take it and would surely go out of my mind!

North Star is under new ownership, the Goldbergs have changed the name. We were a little upset at first but now most of us are on board. Camp is about the people so the new name will be different but we trust Sue & Jay. They are doing some big improvemnts to the camp, we liked it jsut fine but the new bathrooms and big new fun programs will be cool. Jay and Sue are also younger than the past directors and hang out with us so that is cool too. I know lots of the staff are coming back and even staff who were not here last year are thinking of coming back. Its going to be fun for sure!
