There is o much to say about this camp in 1000 words. Everyone at camp are the nicest people you will ever meet. The people in my cabin are so nice! I've only known one of them for 4 weeks and shes already one of my best friends...I really love this camp! CKM<33

This year will be my daughter's third summer, and she is so excited. This camp has changed her life, and it's something she looks forward to all through the year. I want to thank the staff for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. They are welcoming and enthusiastic and have helped to foster self-confidence in my child that I didn't see before. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my choice to send my daughter to campus kids.

i am very glad that i went to this camp for six years. unfortunately i did not apply to be a cit because i knew it would be different. i remember my first year when i was ten i was really homesick and they were very good about comforting me. i would cry and one of the counselors just took me out and we sat by the lake together. the staff are very caring especially the counselors. the only reason i gave facilities a 4 was sometimes the people in the activities were crammed but whatever nbd. my favorite year was 2011 when i was 13! that was the best and i laughed, made good connections with people and had so much fun! unfortunately though as i grew older things changed. i outgrew camp and it was worth going my last year but it wasn't the same and MANY people said "camp has changed." i just outgrew camp my last year and became tired of it. i am sad to let go of my "good old camper days" at CKM, im gonna miss it this summer but yes your child should DEFINITELY try it and stick with it!:-)

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at campus kids this summer! This was our first time trying out sleep away camp, my son did day camp for 3 years. This was the first time he’d ever been away to me for any prolonged period of time (he’s in 5th grade). I found the Monday-Friday option to be the perfect choice for my family. We signed up for four weeks initially, but wound up doing 6!
The staff were all so kind and attentive, which made such a difference. I was a nervous mom and I called to check-up regularly, and always received a thorough update from his village director Tom or the camp directors. My son LOVED his counselors, and still talks about them almost daily. I found the staff to be experienced, caring professionals who walked me through every step of the process and created an exceptional experience for my child. Next year we are signing up for the full 8 weeks. As a first time camp parent I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic experience. See you next summer.

Have sent my kids here for 5+ summers. While they love it, it has become grossly overpriced - would not start a third child there. Am giving staff a "1" due to the office administration not the counselors. Communication with and from the office is pathetic-they do to respond to parental concern and are defensive and acusatory.Bus staff, while nice kids, are not trained to deal with any issues.

ive been attending for the past 3 years, and this year i'll be a CIT. okay. staff is 4, because theres some horrible ones. i dont mean to be rude, but some really are just awful. but you can find that at any camp, so. facilities, like bathroom, staff, and activity rooms is great. the bathrooms are so close to bunks, and you can find them almost anywhere. the bunkhouses are great, because everyones just so close and comfy. great for bonding. activities are 5 bc theyre just perfect. so many options and theres never a period where you dont any /any/ of them. personal att/ is a 5 because theres just so much staff. they totally connect with you and its amazing. theyre hilarious. sure, its kind of expensive.. but they feed, occupy and tkae care of your kid. its totally worth it. over all this camp really is a 5. i made friends my first day adn i still talk to them. theyre also great out of camp. this is the highlight of my year. I HIGHLY SUGGEST SENDING A KID HERE. you will 500% love it

I love CKM and the bathroom is in a CLEAN bathhouse in village literally a 10 second walk from your cabin. Its not that big of a deal to step outside your cabin to walk to the bathhouse. If your concerned about the camp being coed the boys and girls villages are separated a good distance away from each other. As for the comment below complaining about the medical care it sounds like your child had a preexisting condition and shouldn't have been taking part in many physical activities. I am a camper there and i'm pretty clumsy so i can tell you first hand the medical care there is great the nurses at camp are not only nice but very good at their jobs. As for the food situation in my opinion it tastes great and its pretty healthy with fruit and salad offered almost every meal. Its an outdoor camp so if you don't want a real camp experience and you want to live in a dorm go check out CK-NJ. This camp is a great experience for kids of all ages (and im 15 going into my last year.) I<3CKM

Amazing summer camp im a camper and I can tell you from the 3 years I've been going its the best place. Its the woods so yes there is dirt around however cabins are clean depending on the neatness of your bunk mates counselors are with campers all throughout the day campers are never unsupervised bath houses are clean and campers of all ages enjoy it. Whether its their 1st year or their a returning camper everyone makes lots of new friends. The counselors are all really nice. I can't wait to go back. And I'm going into my last year (15 years old). The food is good. The lake is great for your skin. The pool is 3 feet deep I think it's used for instructional swim(given to the youngest campers). If you like music or art or sports or acting what ever you like they have at CKM they even have a beam gym for gymnastics. I love that we choose our activities and we can try new things because if we don't like it we don't have to do it again. CKM is amazing if your kid didn't like it try CK-NJ

This is the second year my child is attending and I am more th en disappointed. Her medical conditions worsened 3 weeks into camp and according to her dr she could no longer go. I have been trying to call them and email them for 3 weeks to discuss my options and I cannot get jani brokaw the owner to return 1 call or email. I paid inm full last summer for this summer and she was happy to return my call then. At least have the decensy to call and ask how she is feeling.

What a great camp. Love the fact that it is Monday through Friday. My kids are home on the weekends. My kids don't complain at all about CKM. They get to choose their own activities everyday. Also, the BLOB and their zip line is their favorite. They will for sure attend CKM again this summer! Ps: my son is 15 and he does not complain that there's no activity for him or his friends. He will try to get into thir cit program after this summer.

While the camp was a great experience for my children when they were younger (10-12 years), the quality of the experience had diminished signficantly. There are few activities for older campers (13-14 years) and the camp has become grossly overpriced.

My boys have been attending CKM for three summers now and love it. They especially enjoy choosing the adventure activities: zip line, high ropes, mountain biking... It is in a beautiful, natural, woodland setting, the food is good - home cooked, fresh, meals. The staff is terrific, too.

I liked going to camp Monday-Friday but the camp itself was pretty gross. I should have visited it before I signed up. No bathrooms in the cabins - yick. Will move to CT or NJ camp I think.

I have been attending the camp for 3 years now...and all i can say is wow! If you want to have a real camp experience, cabins and all then come to this camp! If you are to stuck up to think this camp is dirty then your not going to a camp, your going to a hotel. I visited in both camps at CKCT is not my choice. I LOVE CKM! Food is great, counslers are amazing, nothing can beat this camp, its my home away from home :)

My daughter has been going for 3 weeks now, it is so nice that she comes home on the weekend and I get to see her, but she loves CKM! She doesnt even want to come home on the weekends. Counslers are kind and caring, camp food is excellent (one night they even had salmon). And the bunks are so cozy! My daughter says she feels like shes at home! Also this camp is extremely organized and the campers get to choose themselves what they want to do throughout the day! Go to CKM!

If you want your kids to have the best summer of their life send them to ckm!!! There are so many activities to choose from!!! And best of all you come home on the weekends!!! Whats different about ckm than ckc snd cknj is that this is very rustic which makes it more fun! I mean who wants to go to a camp where you sleep in college dorms?! Thats not a true camP!!! If you want your kids to have a great camp experience and see them on te weekends, then campusk kids minisink is the way to go!!!

This camp is amazing. The Staff are generally very friendly and there is always a staff member around if you need one. The activities are fun, and you can make friends really quickly. Staying in the cabins is also a lot of fun because it really gives you the sense that you are out in the wild and that you have having a real camping experience. BEST CAMP EVER!!!
