The safety of the children is first rate. This place is wonderful for children. I went to camp here and now my children do also and I will not have it any other way!

Very Rustic. Campers sleep in rustic cabins. Counselors sleep in cabins right with the campers! My son absolutely loves going to Overlook. He will be returning for his 3rd year in a row this summer. You do not have to be in 4-H to attend. Excellent activities program. Red Cross swimming program.

I went to 4H Camp Overlook from the time I was five years old all and then worked there as a teenager. I love this camp with all my heart. It is a home away from home. The counselors take excellent care of the children. The scenery around in and around the camp is just breath taking. It is a great outdoor experience. The programs are well planned and fun. Kids will always learn something there. The food is great (and almost all homemade food is served, very little pre-made food). The camp also just built a new dining hall. I'm excited to see how the new building will change the camp for the better. Kids love it and can't wait to go back every summer. This is a great place and I strongly recommend to any parent wishing to give their child the greatest possible childhood memories.
