Horses are underfed and overworked this is an unsafe place for childern considering the trainer has been in jail and has a drinking problem, that should be a red flag on its own right there.

Foxcroft Farm is a very good place to bring your children. They learn a lot about horses and how to ride. The horses are in good shape and are suitable for beginner riders. The barn is nicely lighted up. Your child learns a lot at horse camp and there is always a responsible adult there. The trainers help you out all the time. They never are rude or use bad language. The horses never take off when food comes or never starved. If it wasnt for Foxcroft Farm and the wonderfull trainers there i would have never became the rider I am today.

Dangerous situation. Horrible instruction. Poor quality horses who are all underfed. Kids get taken off with every time the horses see the feed carts. They learn poor position. He buys horses that are not suitable for beginners and then starves them until they have no energy to do anything. These are his 'child safe camp horses'. Avoid this place at all costs. No trainer in the area recommends this man!

Children are unsupervised with easy and unsafe access to adjacent dairy farm consisting of hundreds of cows, some of which come right to the property line. There is about three feet of clearance under the fence which an adult could easily crawl under. The indoor horse stalls are dark, dank, and smelly. Owner/trainer uses foul language at times in front of kids and is very degrading to some. He lacks encouragement and is quick to criticize. If some kids don't do something as ordered, they may be told to pick up rocks and horseshoe nails from the arena as punishment. The owner is more interested in gaining a parent's confidence in order to convince them they need to purchase a horse (from him of course), in order to improve your child's ability to progress. DO NOT patronize this facility. The SPCA should also look into this as the last time I was there it was obvious to me his horses were underfed (thin). The Better Business Bureau is next on my list to be made aware of this situation.

This is a "safe supervised horse camp". I think not. The kids are not supervised AT ALL. It is so dangerous. You get an hour of riding time a day, and the rest of the day, you do stupid things like pick up rocks. The office of the barn smells like cat pee. The owner/trainer is unprofessional and unorganized. Please don't send your kids here. It's a waste of money, and they will not learn proper equitation.
