T Bar M was great--Camp Travis, not so much! My kids weren't allowed to bathe every night, received only water at meal times (two growing teenage boys!), the cafeteria would "run out" of food, and the cabins were not air-conditioned. What's fun about being dirty, sweaty, and hungry?? We will not be returning for the 2017 summer. It's a shame that the owners seem so focused on bringing more scholarship kids to camp that the full-pay kids get shortchanged. No thanks! We will be taking our camp dollars elsewhere.

I had the time of my life at Camp Travis! Everything from First Fruits Bible study in the early morning, to Tent Time late at night, I had the time of my life! The program is definatly worth every penny, and you are brought closer to God every day! The staff are amazingly nice (though sometimes crazy and insane), the activities will blow you away, and you make so many new friends. Even though the cabins are in the woods and by the lake, each group cleans their own cabin every day. Travis also helped me to break out of my shell and learn to have fun and be crazy. The Bible studies also teach you a lot, and you become a better Christian by applying what we learn every morning during our week. I can't wait until next year!
