When I was a kid I came to this camp for fun but it was not fun they made me swim I got the flu they made me pick up barbwire threw me in a pit with poison ivy and when I was drowning they ignored me and a eventually I got ahold of a turtle and floated to shore

I have gone to camp Batwagama for 6 years now and it is my favorite place on earth. I plan to work there when I'm old enough and I can't wait! It is truly a wonderful place and I am blessed to have met so many great friends at camp Batwawgama and have many amazing memories because of it. I love all the staff too! They're amazing

I went here as a child, and now both my kids go here every summer. It is a great place. I am very comfortable sending my kids here. My husband and I stay at the campground across the road when we go to pick up our kids - very fun! Great staff and great opportunities for kids!!!

Batawagama is such a wonderful place. I attended camp when I was 9 until I turned 16. Every time I went there were new experiences and people. It is such a fun and happy place. I love Batawagama.

Its a SUPER fun and active camp for anyone. It touches every persons wants. When i went when i was 9 it was such a memorable time.

THIS IS AN AWESOME CAMP!! im about to go to camp and i love it !! it is such an awesome camp i just love this camp i met my 11 true friends here at batawagama i hope this year i meet 11 more new friends and that i will see my old counselor i love the forest that have all those trees in patterns and mini lake and river bend those are my favorate places to go at camp im going the week of july 3rd i absolutely love that i have had 21 family members who went and 5 that still go to this camp one of them was a swimming teacher and two of them found love for eachother there i love this camp with all my heart and i always will i am so excited and i will go there until i am 16 i know i will have so much fun and the dance is my favorate part of the camp i will always remember when we sing taps in the dark on the first day of camp i cant wait until the long car ride up there and when i am 17 i will want to work at batawagama i love you camp batawagama and i know i will have fun this year i <3 you

I am twelve years old and obsessed with Camp Batawagama! I always go 2 weeks! I highly recommend it because it is just all around goo wholesome fun! Send your kid there and let them enjoy a childhood full of summer memories!

I attended BATAWAGAMA as a child and have visited many times since. It is really an incredible place. The entire program is geared toward appreciating mother nature, one another and all living creatures, large and small. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, hikes, overnights: you name it and it is available. Children are encouraged to be creative as well as athletic. The staff is amazing, the food delicious and plentiful. The Camp itself is like a trip back in time, rustic cabins, a warm and inviting mess hall, all surrounded by beautiful trees, wild flowers and a gorgeous well staffed waterfront. I loved this place!!!

It's been quite a few years since I went however all my memories are positive. It was focused on friendships and outdoor activities, which I enjoyed. I'm not sure how technology plays a role in the camp today however if you want your kids to get away from it all and appreciate friends, outdoor activities and being away from home in the great Northwoods, this is the place to be!

My child attended Band Camp here in 2010. I am amazed & astonished at the caliber of teachers at this camp to teach our children. I cannot thank you enough Camp Batawagma! Worth every cent...

I spent several years at Camp Batawagama in the 80's hiking, canoeing, camping, windsurfing and making crazy crafts. I loved getting up early for swim lessons and singing songs in the mess hall. Some of the best days of my childhood!

This camp rocks i been there my mom my aunt and even my grandpa was there and I kept the tradtion going with my sister and I had many fun moments and eneryone are friends there and the staff rocks thats the best part besides the tether and vollyball courts its the best camp EVER :)!!

I have been going to this camp for 8 years now, and every year i fall in love with this camp all over again. nothing every seems to get old and its always the best. I LOVE THIS CAMP. Its like my other home! Idk what i would do without this camp and i hope to work there when i get older

I went to this camp a couple of years ago, and it was okay. The staff were great, but I didn't enjoy the fact that there wasn't much free time. It was all planned out, and it actually made things stressful. I found this camp fun to go to with a friend, because otherwise the majority of the people there already know each other. I would recommend this camp to those who enjoy scheduled activities.

I was invited to attend camp by a friend when I was 8 years old. Spent at least 1 week at camp (usually more like 2 or 3) until I was 16. Then I worked at camp for 3 years. It was a very special piece of my childhood and made many life long friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I love this place!

I visited this camp as a child and have very fond memories. It is geared toward outdoor fun and adventure, with no religious slant, which I enjoyed. Lots of fun and singing and outdoor activities (swimming, hiking, canoing, cookouts, overnights just to name a few). I highly recommend this camp.
