Gold Arrow is an amazing camp. I have done it for almost 3 years (even though I live in the Washington, DC area), and it has been a huge part of my life. The camp's facilities are amazing, and so is the waterfront and tent-like cabins. The counselours are really nice and give you a lot of attention. The activities are really fun, and even though you don't get to choose them, they are all really awesome! I would reccommend this camp to ANYONE! It is a great experience for boys and girls 8-14 (You can go earlier than 8, but I wouldn't reccommend it).

Simply the best. GAC is costly, but this is the best money we spend. The environment can't be beat. The Monkes, who own and direct GAC, have set a great tone that permeates the camp in the excellent staff they hire. This is our son's dream place, where he most wants to be.

This summer camp was amazing! The activities were really well organized, the counselors are super nice! I have been there twice and hope to go back to be a counselor in training! The food was delicious! This is the camp for anybody and everybody.

I think this camp is extraordinary. My children want to go back year after year and frankly I'd like to go with them!! Sunshine and Monkey run a safe, warm and wonderful program. The counselor/camper ratio means that the camp is "on" any issue (and has typically resolved it) before a camper has even mentioned it. The counselors are phenomenal and come from all over the world to be at GAC. What a wonderful moment in childhood.

I attended GAC years ago as a child and am pleased to see it has survived all these years. One of the best experiences in my entire life at a very sensitive age. The amount of activities and the counseler's compassion out class all the other camps across the states. I remember meeting kids from France and Spain and my horse's name was Snickers. I remember watching the satellites fly across the sky on the island we spent the night at. I'll never forget GAC!

My daughter first went to this camp when she was 9 years old for the mini-camp (1 week). She loved the diversity of activities, the staff and the food. She is a picky eater and we were worried about the menu selections but they were all kid-friendly even for her. The activities were her favorite part, she had non-stop action for the whole week. She is already enrolled for this summer and is looking forward to two weeks of fun this time.

I have all my good camp memories here... but if you don't like rugged tent camps this isn't the place for you.

A great sleep-away camp with great people and activities. Very socially oriented.
