Miriam is such a good place to be. Everyone is super nice and madrichim (counselors) are there to help with everything! Anyone who goes to have a good time will have the time of their life. You make some of the closest friends and I spend nine months out of the year waiting for the three that I get to spend at camp. It's a place for learning, growing, and having a ton of fun.

I love Machaneh Miriam, it's like a second home to me. I've been going for 8 years and the relationships I've made will last a lifetime. I've learned so much by going here and it really has helped shape me into who I am today. I would recommend it for everyone as a safe and fun summer environment.

Most amazing place on earth. I would die if it didn't exist.

worst camp i have ever been to. It is disgusting, the girls are so mean, and the counselors are really unfriendly, and they pretty much tried to brainwash me! Hippies blow.

This camp is pretty bad. You shower in groups, with NO dividers or curtains, so you can see ...ummm... everything. Kids clean toilets, collect the camp's trash with no tongs or gloves, and clean out the gutters. When it is your turn to set the tables, you don't get half as much food as everybody else. Which isn't too bad, because the food is awful too. Activities are like canoeing, jewish culture education (ugh!), swimming, art, and drama. The staff to camper ratio is approximately 1 to 5. You stay for three weeks. This camp has a huge clique problem. If you're not part of a clique, watch out. The kids aren't always the nicest.
