I have been going to Camp Tek for two years now and I wish that I knew about camp when I was a bit younger. The activities for the week stay kept us campers very busy. I enjoyed the Fridays when we had the day to ourselves...wish that my counselor my first year was a bit more out going. This past summer, my counselor was more like a friend and hungout in the cabin area more then my first year. The staff of 2008 went out of there way to please us.. In 2007 neither me or my friend had fun because the counselors were so mean and didn't want to do anything but our parents told us to try it out one more time and i am glad that I did!!

This camp has a lot of potential. Recent changes in leadership have negatively changed the camp's once amazing atmosphere. However, the counselors are amazingly dedicated and do everything they can to make camp a week to remember for every single camper. I hope that this camp will survive this period of transition so that it can continue to positively influence the lives of many children.

The counselors are amazing.The people that work in the office are mean and ridiculous. The counselors were never told the schedule from the people higher up. I could tell that my counselors liked us kids but were tired of never knowing what was going on. Once I saw my counselor crying in the back of the cabin about how the boss yelled at her. BUT I will go back again because I had soooo much fun swimming and hanging out with my new friends. There aren't alot of campers, but thats cool because you get to know everyone. The drama shows are the BEST!!! I hate hobo dinners though...these stupid "meals" we make in the firepit. It was gross and i was sooo hungry!!
