It's sad! This isn't a camp anymore! I'm sad now, because this was kinda fun at times! Now you can only go to Tuckaho or Cedarledge. But I <3 Cedarledge so much! It's too bad about this camp, tho...

I was very disappointed in my camp experience. The counselors had no enthusiasm and made no effort to get to know any of the campers. The activities were fun, I especially liked canoeing. The platform tents were nice. I did not like the toilets. If the counselors talked to us and got to know us I'm sure my camp experience would have been much better. We did not have a campfire either night. I would also like it if the counselors would use real names instead of nicknames. That may make things a little more personal. After my experience at Fiddlecreek, I'm not interested in attending any of the Girl Scout Camps. I will look into other camps for next year.

I went here as my first sleep- a - way camp. It was really fun then, but it only lasts 3 days. They hve sessions for mothers and daughters and fathers and daughters. I went to both of those and they were good. if your older i suggest Cederledge.

i went to this camp with my best friend, and it was my first camp experience. i was so disappointed. for staff, the counselor lectured my friend for being homesick, and they werent very sympathetic/empathetic. for facilities, the tents were dirty and i got bedbug bites(first bed on the left, tent 6)the activities were really just hikes and swimming not much creativity. the counselors had no regards to my feelings whatsoever, and paid no personal attention to any of us. monetary value...i have some good memories, but none of them are from wonderful staff or great activities, or good facilities or anything. my advice is not to go, it is a waste of money and time.

Staff: I rated 4 because you can have good staff but there is sometimes a not-so-amazing conselor. Nothing really bad though. They can be fun though. Facilities: i rated this a 4 because everything is really nice, but an important fact is that most sleep in tents.Personal attention: Perhaps the weakest point at Fiddlecreek.Since the programs are really short (3 days) staff doesn't bond as well with campers. Monetary Value: Amazing. Very cheap with decent food and lasting memoreies. This camp is more for little kids however, so if you are older definetly check out Camp Cedarledge.
