Most sessions run under $300 which includes a full weeks worth of meals, program supplies, activities, and close attention from staff. The campers are all treated with importance by the counselors. Camp Tapawingo offers traditional camp activities such as swimming, horseback riding, canoeing, and archery among others, and they are all taught by well-qualified instructors. The facilities are perfect for a rustic camp. Mary Morgan lodge, used as a dining hall and program center, was just built in 1999 and has beautiful hardwood floors and paneling and a fun painted basement. The staff are friendly and caring, and always pay close attention to the needs of the campers. Overall, this camp is the best value around. RID: 46588
Click to report rating    3/8/13   5     2     4     5     5   The facilities need work. The pool didn't always work the times I was there. But I think there are plans to make it better. The staff are the best! Whoever said they didn't like the ad staff, I thought they were great too. RID: 43919
Click to report rating    11/24/08   5     4     4     3     3   Oh Tapawingo, I love it..not the best camp in the world I'm sure but still love it tons. The staff are always great, not always true of ad staff but thats just how it goes everywhere i'm sure. The facilities just depend some of it is falling apart but Unit Houses are amazing as is the dining hall. Personal attention just depends on the year, the ad staff, the council. Monetary value if ya mean pay it kind of sucks compared to others but the kids are great and thats what its all about! (yes i know what monetary means just not sure if you're talking about pay or how much the campers pay) RID: 27667
