My daughter hated this camp and will never return. She wouldn't consider an outdoor camp this year because of her bad experience last year. The bus was noisy and the other campers rude. They were allowed to put their stuff on her lap and no one did anything about it. The camp area is very, very far from the swimming area. She felt she spent her week marching from camp area to swimming. We made that walk and it was far too long for a child to make twice a day. No boats or water sports offered, just swimming. A bit boring. The washrooms were not proper washrooms. The lights in them hardly worked so she was often in the dark. There often wasn't toilet paper either so she'd have to clean herself up each night. This grossed us all out and was very unhygienic. The night parents visited, there was no working light in the washroom nor any toilet paper. Several parents were there and several of us commented. Crafts hardly ever made it home as they were often stolen.

This is the best camp that I have ever attended. Everybody was friendly and always says hello. You have so many opportunities to try new things. You spend most of your time with a certain group which is streams, and then you get to spend some time alone or with friends which is individual choice and some time with your cabin. They had a good system for who had to help clear and set the table(always 2 people)It was very fun when everyone just starts to sing a song. They make sure that nobody has a fever or could get anyone else sick. They had a good balance of freedom and rules. I have met some of my best friends at this camp.

This camp was a fun experience. Since our leaders were teenagers too some of them payed more attention to their social lives than us. The activities were good but you were put in a group and had to stay in that group. Also some activities for cabin time were hard to get to. I was lucky and stayed in the burrows where there are several rooms attached into one with a bathroom built in. But the down side to this was that we rarely had electricity and the water was freezing cold and the toilets were holes which stunk up the entire burrows. (the other cabins were older and u had to walk to a bathroom). Sometimes i felt left out of the other kids during free time. The value was of the camp was pretty good. The food was great and you had a lot of choice in activities.We went to bed at 9 30ish and woke up at 7 25.Though i had a bad experience one night when i couldn't sleep because of all the big horse flies buzzing around and my cabin mates snoring.But overall it was a pretty good experience.
