I went to Camp Cherokee 2nd session 2012. My mom was basically forcing me to go. Did i want to go? Absolutely not! Am i happy i went? Totally! Camp Cherokee was an experience that i will never in my life forget. All the counselors and CITs were so nice and respectful and were always willing to help. I am so excited for summer 2013. I miss Camp Cherokee so much. I CANNOT wait to go back. The experience is AMAZING. You wouldn't believe its possible to have that much fun in one week. I talk/think about camp EVERY DAY. I love and miss Camp Cherokee! ITS GREAT TO BE A CHEROKEE !

Would I send my child (12 yrs old) here again? Absolutely! It was my son's first sleepaway experience and he absolutely loved it. He said he was kept busy from 8:00am-9:00pm in activities he thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent camp/counselor ratio. He made many friends and has great memories of the experience. One hint: Make sure you bring a fan. The cabins get very hot. My son was ok with that and considered it to be part camping.

I have been to this camp twice and out of every camp i have been to this is by far the best it is the most fun i have ever had in a week it offers everything you could want to do at summer camp with the individual attention of 5 or 6 kids to a cabin YMCA camps have a reputation to be good and this is no let down! ITS MORE THAN A CAMP ITS A FEELING!
