I remember the day when I couldn't wait to go to this camp but it was one of the worst time that ever happen to me. All the girls there were really mean to me and I only made one friend but I never get to see her anymore. The staff was horrible! they never care if half of my belonging were stolen from the girls in my cabin. I hadn't talk to my mom the whole time that I was at that camp because my letters never got delivered to her. There was many things that were wrong with that camp but now I'm just glad to be home.

Riverview is one of the best places on earth, you meet tons of new people and is a place were you can grow in your faith. I love camp more then anything and that is why i return every single year. My camp friends are my best friends and i visit them every chance I get. I promise you will have a blast! I know i will be sending my daughter to Riverview.

I was a camper and counselor at Riverview. I loved it as a camper. I felt like the owners had favorites and that some of the senior staff were creepy or irresponsible, but I loved my friends, the activities, and the opportunities and freedom I had at camp. Then I became a counselor. Susan, the owner/director, had a favorite saying: "going from a camper to a counselor is like going from number 1 to 0." This sums up the way I was treated as a counselor. The vague theory I had about favorites as a camper was proven as a counselor. She once pulled me aside and told me the daughter of a dear friend would be in my cabin and I was the make sure I treated her well and she had a good time. I grew up "knowing" that I would send my daughter to Riverview. Now I'm certain I will not.

I love Riverview! It's an awesome camp where you can meet some the best girls ever who can become your really great friends!
