VERY GOOD STAFF. GOOD PROGRAMS FOR THE YOUNG SCOUTS AND PROGRAMS LIKE COPE, MOUNTAIN MAN AND HIKING FOR THE OLDER SCOUTS. CAMP STAYS AT 300 OR BELOW SCOUTS PER WEEK. GOOD VALUE AND GREAT AREA FOR SCOUTING.

If you like going to a camp where it feels like you stepped out of your house and into a sauna where it's hot, nothing ever dries, it's wet, but otherwise it's home, Camp Pioneer is the place for you. the facilities are excellent! (except for the lack of a lake). Activities are great, and you get what you pay for as far as the price goes. However, I found the Staff to be rude and un-helpful. a Few staffers were great, but otherwise it was the worst camp experience I have had with the staff. Staff seemed to just give out merit badges, rather than having kids earn them. Personal Attention was minimal. they had no idea what "Kosher" meant so I was forced to live off of Bread for a week.
