With just 8 campers per week to 1 instructor and at least 2 assistants, campers truly experience learning to care for a horse/pony from start to finish as if it were their very own. Each camper learns safety, handling, stable management, grooming, tacking, riding each day as well as caring for injuries, recognizing illness and along with all of the typical activities, campers participate in crafts, games and field trips as appropriate to ages and skill levels. Campers may also choose to compete at a local horse show at the end of the week, which makes it that much more exciting!A very beautiful farm with kind and expereinced lesson/show horses with a fun staff and caring family atmosphere.
