If you have the perfect child, this is your camp. If your child has any difficulties, they are not dealt with and the child is kicked out. It is outrageous for this money that the staff, although they sound good on paper, have no idea on how to treat a child with problems. I'm not talking about big problems, criminals, bullies. I am talking about a lovely child that occasionally gets frustrated. The child doesn't hit, knife, punch, just gets frustrated. This is a terrible camp. I wouldn't even send a perfect child there.

It's a really good camp, in terms of facilities, staff, ruach, Jewish content and so many other creative things that comes out. I would suggest however that they would ease off on some of the repetitiveness that goes on from time to time. Programs are very repetitive, that it almost seems like every summer is just a rerun of the previous, especially up until you reach Sha'ar (9th grade). Song sessions are fun, but twice daily is TOO MUCH.

My mom and cousins went there and had fun times. Facilities and food were not so great, but that is camp. Overall, at first they were concerned, they ended up liking the camp.

Snobby place which is more than willing to convey the message that some kids with community connections are far superior to others. This message occurs not only on the camper level, but on the staff level. I would not send my child again.

I have gone to this since 4th grade and enjoyed every minute. Just 3 days ago, I returned home from my 6th year. Being a Jewish camp, they keep kosher, and the meals are good, considering it is camp food. I would say that there are tons of staff, and all are nice, give every camper plenty of personal attention, and seem very experienced. A few years ago, an autistic kid was in my cabin, and the staff seemed to know exactly what he needed, and as a result, me and many of my friends became friends with him. The activities are also incredible. One main sport in the camp is Ultimate Frisbee, as well as a variety of other sports, such as gaga (similar to dodge-ball) and other less outdoors-sy stuff, such as an arts-and-crafts building, an opportunity to learn how to play guitar and you can also choose to take part in a movie made every session and shown to the entire camp. THIS CAMP IS SO AMAZING!!! I've never seen a camp with so much spirit in my entire life. The staff go through so much lengths to bring in creativity and energy into the camp's atmosphere. Shabbat services at this camp will never be like any other camp. The food is also very good for camp food. I would only suggest that they fix up some of the facilities, especially the cabins. Otherwise, this camp definitely deserves to be a Top 10 Jewish Camp.
