I met many of my best friends here. Even though I'd only met them that week, I felt like I had known them for years. It is truly a life changing experience. I improved not only as a musician, but also as a person in general. Bellis is not just a camp, it's a place where everyone is included, and you find people that will stand by you no matter what. Bellis is my home and I can't truly express how lucky I am to be a part of this amazing community. I started as a shy musician who wasn't confident in my own ability. Because of Bellis, I gathered enough courage to play solos and perform for judges. I miss Bellis everyday.

My daughter begs to be enrolled to this music camp year after year. She has attended Bellis 2 years in a row now. She only has praises to sing whenever she returns from camp & can't stop talking about how much she misses camp even after a week. My daughter can't wait to apply to be a junior counselor this year...

Was a camper, then a JC, and then a Counselor. This place is truly magical. I look forward to it every year, sometimes everyday.

I was new at Bellis last year in August 2010, and I had never been to a camp before. Slightly nervous, I had no idea what to expect. The first few days were slightly awkward, yes; but that only added to the experience. I loved it there. It was my home. IS my home (I'm coming back next year). When I came back home, I fell into an odd depression because I wanted to go back. Bellis Music Camp really took me by the heart. There isn't another place that feels more like home.

Bellis ROCKS!!! The teaching staff are the best and you can't beat the traditions that have been established over the years. Bellis is THE BEST camp for jr. high musicians.
