I have never been to a better camp in my entire life. The staff are the funniest people I have ever met and it is the one place I am able to be myself. The more crazy you are, the more you fit in. I love the constant activities and the staff makes the weeks so much better. After a week, I find myself crying because I don't want to leave. After being a camper for 6 years, it has become my home away from home. I look up to nearly all the staff and I couldn't imagine this camp not in my life. I have learned so much and experienced many new things. This camp has taught me how to be more independent. My favorite part is coming back summer after summer and having everyone know my name and doing new activities each week. There is never dull week at Camp Sacy. I love this camp and every staff member there. The campers are always nice and every week I have a blast. It makes my summer much more enjoyable and I love meeting new friends! Every girl needs to experience this magical camp!

I LOVE SACY! I've been twice in 2011 and 2012 it is so fun! The counselors are all super funny and nice, and the campers are all friendly. The activities are non-stop, there are few moments that you aren't doing anything. I would recommend to anyone that they should go. For the people who think that it is boring, they choose for it to be. OK so it is IN THE WOODS so it will be hot and buggy, but that is part of the experience. So if you do not like the outdoors OF COURSE a camp in the pine barrens would be boring. So you could focus on the bugs and the heat, or you could focus on the counselors who try their hardest to make every moment fun. Also, NO ONE drowned in the pool. All the lifeguards are highly qualified and attentive. As for the horse camp, I've been to the same one at a different GS camp, and the faculty was very strict about dress code, and did not let ANYONE ride in shorts.

HORRIBLE for girls under 8. So disorganized and disfunctional. Councilors change every week so no one gets to know the girls names. They called my daughter a different name for almost the entire week and she kept correcting them. They think they have saftey taken care of but anyone can walk those trails and anyone can take a child home without knowledege. You have to sign your child out but you have 300 kids and parents in the same area at the same time and a bunch of young junior girls asking if you signed your child out. Horrible experience for both me and my daughter.

I have had nothing but great experiences withthis camp. I unfortunately have to work all summer and my daughter is there for almost all 10 weeks. This will be her first year as a junior and can't wait to do the three night overnight program. I heard it is being run by the former performing arts specialist. I think her name was Tapper.

This really depends on your age. I had a blast when I went there as a kid about 8years old. But when I went as an 11 year old, it's boring. Me my three friends ended up doing nothing with the grouo because we were so bored. I reccomend it for kids under the age of 9.

I went to camp there for a few years now and it has come along way. They have built it up and added new activities I can't wait to go back this summer.

I went to this camp around 2003 and while I was there, about 3 people got lice. The meals weren't very good and my counselors made almost all of our group cry. I definitely did not have a good experience there and would not recommend it.

First of all, you waste your money. My daughter went to the horse camp and broke her finger b/c a counsler said it was ok to pet the horse. And then the horse bit her. My niece fell of the horse and landed on a cone and she asked if she could take ride for the rest of the day. They forced her to ride again. One of my firends daughters went and sleept over and for dinner they gave her half a brownie and dirty water. My that girl's friend asked if she could go home that night becuase her chest hurt. Two hours later she had an asthma attack and still wouldn't let her call her parents. My younger half sister said that one girl almost drowned her in the pool, while the lifgaurds where making out. They didn't even pay attention. Ever since these incidents i never sent any of children and advise anybody reading this, that never send your daughter her!

I remember Sacy. I had a good time but than again it was three years ago and when I went we stayed in the cabin because it was January and the weather was 10 below. Our troop leader wouldn't even let us take a hike for fear of frost bite.

My daughter went to horse camp, fell off the horse,& broke her ankle when the horse stepped on it. I sent her to camp the next day in shorts and instructed the director not to let her ride. The counselor did let her ride in shorts (not allowed), she fell off again, and ripped her shorts. The camp is DIRT and hot. Ever since Tree Frog (director) left, it has not been the same. It is the cheapest camp in the area...you get what you pay for.
