I went to Unalayee for 7 years as a camper and I loved it! I made life long friends and really became the person I am. The backpacking is the best part. The Trinity Alps are amazing mountains and I'm so lucky to have spent time in them!

You won't find a better place for kids to have fun learning to thrive in the wilderness, develop self reliance, and build lasting respect, understanding, and friendships with other young people from widely varied background. The site is unique and unparalleled for a youth camp, its remoteness means Campers are entirely immersed in natural Alpine beauty, with a daily diet that includes clean clear air and Spring water direct from the source.

This camp's outdoor and wilderness program is as good as it gets. All of the days are filled with numerous activities including in camp and on the trail. Because of the rugged terrain and unspoiled wilderness setting, your child will have every opportunity to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. Self-sufficiency is developed as well with knowledgable and supportive staff to guide them.

Great staff capable of giving kids an adventure in the backcountry not found anywhere else. Primitive camping with backcountry trips for 2 weeks or more, or two nighters for the little kids. The Trinity Alps are gorgeous and since this camp has been here for about 50 years, they know its best spots well. There is archery, swimming, canoeing, rock-climbing, a craft shack, a sweatlodge, backpacking skills, music, all at almost 7,000 feet elevation. The food is better than any other camp I've been to but that really depends on how well you and your counslelors cook since everybody cooks, cleans and learns how to help each other. Very cool camp. I love it!
