My daughter attended a camp in the Midwest for 2 summers. Although she enjoyed it very much, the bunk sizes were too large and it was difficult to get a good sleep. We were told by a camp consultant about Kennolyn. Our daughter loved it so much she stayed 3 sessions! The scenery is amazing and the camp is so charming. The counselors are attentive and fun and the activities were very impressive. She took a photography classand learned what you would learn in an expensive class. We were also impressed by the art classes and the pieces she came home with. The kids are down to earth and all in all, such a wonderful experience. All we here now is: "How many more days until I go back to camp?"

We sent out ten year old son this summer, and we were so pleased with the camp: excellent supervision, good communication between the camp and parents, lots of fun activities, and upbeat, energetic counselors. We'd had a terrible experience at another camp the previous summer (Skylake, Yosemite - not for us!) so this was really a great experience in contrast. He will definitely go there again next summer.

This is like, the most amazing camp EVER!!! i cant sleep ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL all the way to the last because I miss K-E-N-N-O-L-Y-N!!!

Love is a really strong word, but that is definitly how I felt about this camp. I truly loved it. I loved the other campers, the activities, the counselors, and even the food. If you keep your children from going to Kennolyn you are keeping them from one of the most positive experiences in a lifetime.

This is without a doubt, the best money ever spent on a camp. It was perhaps more than most, but the reputation is well deserved. I could not imagine sending my children to another camp again. The quality of their camp staff is the highest. The value is beyond the price. There is not a question in my mind; Kennolyn Camps is the best camp available. I find a way to get my three there in the summer. It is a dream. My wife and I feel at ease. They are meticulous about their staff, and safety. My children love being home in town, and with their mom and dad, but when they return form Kennolyn, they begin counting the days they will go back.

I was a counselor at Kennolyn in 1989. It was one of the best summers of my life. I am friends for life with some of the counselors I met that summer! I will never forget teaching tennis on the courts overlooking the ocean. I will never forget cookouts on the beach! I will never forget banana slugs and outpost! I will never forget Aunt Marion and Uncle Max! I will be sending my children to Kennolyn.

The 10 weeks i spent at kennolyn this summer were the best weeks of my entire life!!! i have made friends from literally all over the world and i can't wait to go visit them all!!!! I have never experienced anything like kennolyn! The day i had to come home i cried the enitre day, from when i drove out of glen haven rd to getting back to LA!!!! I highly encourage anyone who wants the best summer for their children to be sent to kennolyn! The worst part about camp is having to leave! I can't explain what makes it so amazing, but that is part of the magic that comes with it! Go to kennolyn--- you won't regret it!

kennolyn is THE place to send your children if you're looking for a real traditional camp experience. the staff and program always aim to please, and build a true family every summer. the facilities are gorgeous, and i don't have a single complaint!!

sleeping bag: $68... 18" trunk: $100... Kennolyn tuiton: $1,200... giving your kid the time of their life: priceless. There are some things money can't buy...and you'll find them all at Kennolyn. I love Kennolyn so much. When I was younger, I would start a Kennolyn countdown the week after I got back, and I drove my parents crazy constantly talking about it.

Kennolyn has been the highlight of my summer for a crazy amount of years!! The best friends i have all are from camp, living with someone helps you get to know them on a such a different level than just going to school with them!!! I start packing for camp weeks in advance because i am just that excited to go! Kennolyn has taught me a surplus of skills which include: rock climbing, cooking famous foil stew over a camp fire, archery, stained glass, and photography, but the most important skill i have learned from camp is how to be an amazing friend. Kennolyn is amazing!!! don't miss out or let your kid miss out on the best summer of their life!

My mom went to this camp for years and stayed the whole summer every year, and I also went a few years and was a counselor for 3. This is the most incredible place! Every year I leave camp I am even more confident than the year before. Kennolyn is a place where I have always felt I can be my true self. Counselors and campers come from all over the world, year after year, to spend their summers there. Kennolyn will always hold a very special place in my heart, as I know it does for countless others.

KENNOLYN is the BEST! even though i have been going for only 3 years, it's the highlight of my summer..i have met some of the coolest and nicest friends and we will always keep in touch. the activities are SO fun and i always feel like part of a family when i go to kennolyn. I LOVE KENNOLYN!!! I HAVE BEEN ON STAFF FOR TWO YEARS AND I WISH I WAS GOING TO BE THERE AGAIN THIS SUMMER. KENNOLYN IS AMAZING! FROM THE POOL TO DRAMA IT'S ALL FUN TIMES. Kennolyn is a special place-- there is something peaceful, magical, and comforting about being there among the redwoods with interesting and unique people. I attended Kennolyn as a camper for a number of years and loved it. However, for my first three years as a camper I went to one-week sessions due to cost (Kennolyn is pricey). After working a deal with my parents, they decided to pay for the two-week session and I soon realized how much I'd missed out on by only going for one week. In order to truly get the most for your money, I'd highly recommend attending a two-week session. After a 6-year gap, I returned to Kennolyn as a staff member and it seemed as if nothing had changed-- in the best way possible. I think it is important to recognize that Kennolyn is a "traditional" camp and with that there are a number of standards (such as a dresscode that includes no two-peice swim suits and no tanktops). Day-to day camp activities are quite structured and that style isn't for everyone.

I have participated in just about everything this camp has to offer - family camp, day camp, residence camp, training program, and now after attending since the age of five I am proud to say that I work here! I have found Kennolyn to be consistently beneficial to all who attend. I hope to someday send children of my own to Kennolyn; I love that it provides opportunity for adventure and trying new things while maintaining a high level of physical and emotional safety. I can't imagine what my life would be like without it. It truly is my second home. Traditions like Campfire and Beach Day are some of my fondest memories from any time in my life. I love the fact that the campers and staff represent an international demographic, and that everyone is so caring. What can I say - a camp in the woods, guaranteed to make you good, Kennolyn's for me!

Kennolyn is what camp should be. It is a wonderful place with tons of activities, ropes courses, log cabins, dances, yummy food, outpost, towering redwoods, amazing friends, and caring counselors. It is so rejuvenating and important to spend a couple of weeks, or more!, away from the hustle and bustle and stress of normal life in such a beautiful, natural environment with such wonderful people. I have grown and learned so much and had a ridiculous amount of fun in my years as a camper and also in the counselor training program. This coming summer, I am honored and excited to return as a counselor!

I've been going to Kennolyn for over 8 years and i hope to be on staff this summer. The activities are amazing and set in the beautiful redwoods of the santa cruz maountains. the entire community there is supportive and friendly. I've been drawn back year after year because my experience is so wonderful each time I go. I wouldn't recomend any other camp. ^_^

11 summers; second summer on staff. I am what they call a Kennolyn "lifer." I must say that I love it just as much as a counselor as I did as a Camper. I completed the leadership-training program and Kennolyn has provided me with friendships that will last a lifetime. There is such a unique dynamic at this camp. I have strong friendships with people from Mexico, Dubai, France, England, as well as many other countries because of Kennolyn. It was the place that established me with the self- esteem I have today; I can confidently wear my ponytails to the side and sing camp songs at the top of my lungs all year round. It is truly an amazing place. Kennolyn has become my family; I enjoy going back to see the staff that returns on a regular basis, and truly care for the campers, some of the people I work with used to be MY counselors. K- Town is experienced, they know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend it. From a camper to a counselor, its still an amazing place.

I have been a counselor at Kennolyn for 2 years, this summer will be my third!! BEST PLACE EVER and quite addicting I might add! So many fun activites ranging from water polo to wheel pottery! The staff members are beyond incredible and the beautiful Kennolyn environment feels like home to everyone! Fabulous memories gaurenteed!!!

i attended kennolyn residential camp for years as a kid, and so did my brothers and sister. EVERY school year we would count the days until we could go back to Kennolyn. Some of my best life memories are at that camp, and i still remember many of the songs. The staff is wonderful, the site and food and cabins are amazing, and there are so many activities to choose from. I'll send my kids there one day!
