Click to report rating    1/22/18   5     5     5     5     5   This camp was the best thing my child has done during a summer break - ever! My child not only began to learn aerial silks but also made new friends that I'm sure will last a lifetime. The staff was very welcoming and supportive. And the campers were also welcoming and took my child under their wings (this was my child's first camp experience whereas many of the campers have attended for several years). My child raved about the food and can't wait to go back next year. RID: 51596
Click to report rating    10/16/15   5     5     5     5     5   My grandson has been going to Camp Winnarainbow for 4 years and will be teen staff next year. He LOVES this camp, it's non-competitive, loving, peaceful, fun, it's where he can be a kid, be himself. I am so grateful for Wavy and the staff they truly know that kids need to be kids. Beautiful location in the hills below the redwoods, he falls asleep in a circle of tee pees and once during each camp session he sits up at night while listening to the awesome music float up the valley from The Kate Wolfe Festival. What more could you dream of for you kid? RID: 49239
Click to report rating    1/16/14   5     5     5     5     5   Honestly the best part of the year for me, made so many friends, tried so many things, seen even more. The only people i've seen have a bad time are the people that are either spoiled brats who just want the world on a gem encrusted platter or those who think they are to cool to sing, dance, or laugh with the rest of us. this place really helped me get out of my shell and to see people trash it online without even a bit of explanation makes me mad. Click to report rating    3/16/12   5     4     5     5     5   This camp is the best thative been to, and that's saying something, a I've been to at least 6 summer camps. This is the only one I returned to. Yes, it's very outdoorsy, but that's part of what makes it great. In the morning you take classes about everything from juggling, stilt walking, unify cling, aerials to song writing, puppet making, and gymnastics. In the afternoon there's always something to do whether it's going to the lake to check out the waterslide or going on a kitchen walk on stilts. Maybe instead you want to go to the creek, or just hang out with friends othe stage or in the teepee circle. The resources here are endless, and every kid, no matter who they are or where they come from is treated with respect by every staff member. The food is utterly DELICIOUS and the campfires are incredibly exciting. You can't get anything from another camp that you can get here, and it offers so much more. If you're looking for a place to go for any part part of the summer, this is it. RID: 40545
Click to report rating    1/18/11   5     5     5     5     5   Both of my daughters have been going for three years. This is the highlight of their year. For me, it's a time of year where they open their hearts. I can't say enough about how great it is. RID: 34874

Click to report rating    3/8/09   5     5     5     5     5   This camp is awesome! I can't believe people would say there is nothing to do- it's the opposite. There is free time every afternoon, but there's still lots of activities, it's just less structured. Everyone there is so nice, I don't see why anyone wouldn't like it. RID: 29203

Click to report rating    5/25/07   5     5     5     5     5   This camp was fantastic! I'd recomend it to any one up for a fun time. It provides lots of activities like unicycling, stilt walking, acting, gymnastics, tightrope... the list goes on and on. There is also a lot of time to just hang out and swim or chill. I loved it!Your full of it if you thing Winnarainbow sucks RID: 11146
Click to report rating    2/7/07   5     5     5     5     5   I wonder if the people who did the other ratings even went to this camp. There is alot of free time but I wouldn't say there was nothing to do. If you actually participate in any of the activities then there is a million things to do all the time. The food is great! And the staff are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet on the face of the earth. And Wavy Gravy is cool. RID: 7632
