I love this camp so much! It is truly a wonderful place. I have made so many great friends and the staff is very caring. The activities are exciting and fun. Definitly a great camp!! It is about 100 campers per 2 week session so it is very small and tight knit. Please consider this camp if you are choosing a Jewish sleepaway camp, you won't regret it!

My daughter was very homesick and kept writing asking us to come get her. I called the camp several times and was always assured that she was over it. When the bus brought them back, her first words were 'why didn't you come get me.' I felt like I had been tricked. It's been two years and she can't even sleep at a friend's anymore.

I honestly loved this camp. Sure sometimes it got cold and sometimes very challenging, but it was well worth the price. At home I have been depressed but at Shwayder I forgot about it all.

Shwayder camp. Words can't describe how much I love this place. Every single thing about it is fantastic. This camp is beyond amazing...I love Shwayder camp!

My kids said Shwayder camp was fantastic! They were rock-climbing and adventuring within two days. The focus at camp is on facilitating inter-personal activity whether in sports or planned activities. Very caring and well trained staff. Focus is on physical action in the mountains. Uniform wonderful responses.
