Owner Matt Frankel should not be in charge of children in any way. He is a hot head and discriminates against a 6 year old Type 1 diabetic. Only camp in the area to do such a thing. Trust me when I tell you, do NOT let this guy decide whether or not your child should be or stay in his camp. Your child could get used to the camp, then BAM, Matt decides to just kick him out with ZERO warning. Its a known thing, all of the other camps nearby (Breezy Point, Camp America, etc.) are MUCH BETTER and do not discriminate or make rash decisions about children.

I have gone to this camp for like 8 years? anyways it is so amazing, i remember my first day there and i was 5 and they asked my name and we were in a circle omg. Being totally honest, sometimes the bunks can get a little mean, but only like some. most of the counselors teach the girls not to cause ANY drama. But if one girl is outcasted, its because she is rude. my bunk is literally just a big family<333 the staff is absolutely AMAZING but i wish so many weren't leaving this year. Im not a big fan of the new owners, but they are great. THE BATHROOMS ARE SO GROSS YOU WILL LEARN THE TRICKS TO GOING IN CAMP IF YOU GO. activities are fun and the people who run them always try to get the kids active and its always fun. everyone at this camp knows eachother, from the lower bunks to the maintenance guys **rip gavin** this is the best camp. so go here. sign up now. legit.

ive been going for 7 years and it is amazing!!! :) everyone(mostly) is nice and the counselors are amazing:) the bathrooms are always gross so go to the nurses office when u need to go. hehe the CITs can sometimes be lazy but they are stil amazing and nicee . Colorwar is cinda boring tho. The arts there are alot of fun. hehehe. i got a lead and choreographed all of the numbers. :) I JUST LOVE CAMP!!xD

I went to this camp for 8 years and its amazing! There are tons of activites, and color war is awesome there! Theres also some bad things about this camp though: If you are going into around 9th or 10th grade (c.i.t.) its kind of cliquey. Some of the conselors for older girls aren't that good though, they are kind of lazy. The bathrooms are discusting.. there are spiders and its just icky. Overall, Briarwood ROCKS! I know I just said 3 bad things, but its worth it. #1 most of the counslers are funny & nice. #2 if your children are young the staff are very good. #3 you probably wont have to go to the bathroom to much. Anyway... BRIARWOOD IS AMAZING!!! I'm not kidding.... why would i go back if it wasnt. Seriuosly i love it. like im not joking. u really should send your kid there. no joke. ok well i hope you agree with me, and you can go to their website if you want 2.

i went to briarwood for omg i think like 8 years. it is so much fun. the other campers and staff are so nice, and the activities are amazing.
