My son attended Alpine for 8 summers. This year he could not return because he was too old. Numerous times he has told me how much he misses Alpine and that he will always remember Alpine as the best part of his childhood and summertime. Words cannot begin to describe the quality of the camp, the directors (same family for over 50 years), the counselors, the beautiful location, the food, the amazing activities, and the spiritual guidance these campers are blessed with receiving at Alpine. It is truly a special place, and my son is so grateful for the gift we gave him sending him to Alpine. He has made lifelong friends from other states, and he hopes to return one day as a counselor. If you are a mom who is scared to let your baby go away, let me assure you, safety is a top priority at this camp unlike any I have ever seen. There is not one stone left unturned. I hope I have grandsons one day who can attend. Alpine is not a camp. It is a way of life that will always be with us.

Alpine is the greatest place in the world! It sits atop Lookout Mountain in Alabama. Whether it is sleeping under the stars or scaling huge rocks, there are a million ways to have fun at Alpine. Please request a DVD and see for yourself how much fun Alpine is!

I have attended Alpine for the past seven years. It is one of the best places in the entire world. It is sitted atop lookout mountain in Alabama. The staff are selected through a strenuous backround and interviewing program. Staff are not paid a tremendous amount so it is very obvious that they are there because they want to be and they have a serious calling to do it. I encourage everyone to request a DVD and to just check it out, come visit one day this summer and see our lives at Alpine.
