The pay most of their staff off the books, at below minimum wage, with no benefits or overtime. Is that really the sort of place you want to send you child?

very attentive staff . Concerned about your child having a good experience and also concerned about your childs safety. My children loved the food (rare) . They have several field trips and a variety of daily activities. Every night they also have a different activity. There is a doctor present at camp and several nurses. I would not hesitate to send my son to this little piece of heaven.

This is definitely a cabing based camp. Kids looking for a actity based camp should look elsewhere. My kids felt the staff and peers were snotty, and they were bored.

Camp Laney is a great place for boys. The have 2 one week jr sessions for boys aged 7 and 8 to get a fill for the camp life. The 2 week camp goes for 8 to 14 as campers. 15 and 16 year olds can be WCITS, who get paid a little bit for being their, and they work in the kitchen as table boys. The staff is well trained by the best in the Business. Chris Thurber and Bob Ditter both come and do training session with the staff.

Great camp for boys young as 8 i believe and as old as 18 or so. Check out the website for more details and pictures. This camp created a sense of understanding the outdoors and how to make new friends.
