Amazing camp that is more than a camp. The focus on community within and outside of the camp makes it unusual. The kids do volunteer work outside of camp and everyone has a camp Job. My daughter worked in the organic garden and with the chickens and goats. She was part of a group called random acts of kindness where they did things for others each day. She also went camping, swimming and did lots of dancing. The counselors were awesome as were most of the kids. My daughter even came back liking kale! No horseback riding or waterskiing here, not a fancy place, but the focus on Values and the importance of work for the good of the community is outstanding. My ten year old daughter can't wait ton return next summer. She even liked the food!

I went to this camp as a kid and now all three of my children go here. It is not just a camp, it truly becomes a second home. The growth the children get is amazing. It is not just about fun and games, it is about learning to be a good person and building a group dynamic. Do not miss this camp! It is worth it!

This is a fabulous camp; so warm and accepting that almost any kind of kid can fit in here. It has been my boys life for summer after summer and has made then into the wonderful people they are today!

Tavor not only strengthens individuals, it strengthens communities. The changes in personal character between the first day of camp with the last are absolutely unbelievable, and not once has a young person left worse than when they entered. Empowering, exciting, and fascinating, the camp is able to meld together education, fun, and activism into a dynamo session. Camper to counselor ratio remains low, and the staff genuinely wants their campers to have as meaningful of a summer as they did. The mere fact that campers return year after year, and often late into their adult life as counselor and managers, is testament to the fact that it is more than just a camp, it is a revolutionary life experience.
