The camp is located on a school grounds, which is a drawback. The camp is expensive. The kids are cool enough but the main problem is with the administration of this camp. In my opinion based on working there for one summer, is that the camp director is on an enormous ego trip, envisioning himself as some kind of summer camp godfather. He often quoted from the movie “the godfather “ and he presents himself as a real “tough guy” which is contrary to the whole philosophy of summer camps. I was an archery counselor there and he constantly was moving my archery course all over the campus. It was not a pleasant summer for me although I still managed to make it fun for the kids despite the camp director’s machismo

Worst ran camp in the area, total waste of money and the kids want out after a week or two.

Great camp. The activities are very good. They lack a lake with boating activities, but make up for it with the indoor facilities...especially in the case of inclement weather!

okay- this is the deal: AFSSP (this camp) is the WORST experince of my LIFE! It made you feel so stupid and dumb! I hated going there! The rating below me is crazy! IT SUX!! NEVER GO HERE!

i go 2 ytp nd the ppl r rlly nice nd so r the kids. we stay in the air conditioned classrooms or in ytp's case the theater. Awesome camp!!! LUV IT HERE
