I have been going to camp for 7 years now and I love it so much I wouldn't go anywhere else. the cabin leaders are great the waterfront is beautiful and the food is amazing. They just opend the triple zip line and it is so awesome. I would definetly recomment going there.

camp has been a great place for me to grow up. to be up north in the summer, experiencing nature, structure and community in a fun way that allowed me to interact with so many new faces, it was a foundational experience. I went back summer after summer and the staff were always well equipped, trained in their area of expertise, safety first and of course, knew how to appeal to children. The staff also always got along with each other. The facilities were great. I really enjoyed sleeping out in the woods in my cabin, close to nature and participating in the lake on a daily basis was an exciting experience for a city kid like me. You can't put a price on that kind of growth and so it was a great experience for a great value. They were very respectful as well. So if you are looking for a camp with windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming instruction, archery, mountain biking, drama, crafts, radio technology and music instruction in the muskoka area, choose this camp.

Camp Mini Yo We is a very good camp to attend.I have been attending the camp since the age of 9. I never get tired of going, I`m always excited to go. I count down the days each time. They dont shove the word of god down your throat. the councilors are very nice, you can talk to them about anything, when you arrive they make you feel welcomed. The activities are really fun each week they have a different theme which is fun. The food is always delicious, the cook always surprises you with different foods and always meets your needs. I recommend sending your child there for a fun and exciting week. Your children will learn great songs and alot of things about God.

I've been going to camp miniyowe for six years and I can honestly say it's been the best experience and has made me who I am. When I first attended in eighth grade, I was skeptical about the whole "God" thing, but the camp opened me up to everything I had been missing without shoving it down my throat. The activities are stellar; canoeing, tubing, and rocks and ropes are only some of the great ones. The food is also fantastic and even though I'm vegan, the cooks accommodated my needs. I find the staff time and time over to be extremely great. Each counsellor goes through half a summer of vigorous training and developing their leadership skills. I completed this program three years ago and my sister completed it this past summer. I would highly recommend this camp. Although if you feel uncomfortable with spiritual content, there is a lot.

CAMP-MINI-YO-WE . FOOD• the food is fresh good and very organic . CHRISTIANITY• This is camp for christains. Thats why it's callled a christian camp. People attend there and then they write a review on how they talk about God to much which isn't bad . But overall they teach you very fun gospel songs and they teach us plentiful about God. FACILITIES• Overall there facilities are not the best, but they are clean. The main problem is that bugs fly in. But every time you move up to an older section the bathrooms get bigger and cleaner. ACTIVITIES • the activities are so much fun and they give you and insruction that you can learn lot's from..So overalll Camp mini yo we is the best camp in the world. Plus there is lots of privacy given to the girls and boys from their counclers and everyone else. This Camp is just amazing! I have been there since I was 10, and now I am coming back with my sister and best friend:) I am a Christian and some people say that they shove the religion down your throught, they don't they just want you to find a good realationship with God, and you have fun while your doing that. Everyone at the camp are nice people and I always make friends the first 5 minutes I've been there. The food is excellent and the games they play are very fun. I always look forward to coming to this camp, and I think that it is a camp that helps you learn about leadership skills to! Great camp, and I can't wait to go very soon! I rated this camp because its a great camp for all ages, and not all camps are like that, I also want people to know that you WILL have a good time. Go MYW!

Mini-Yo-We is the greatest place in the world, hands-down. I will never love a place more than I love myw. The staff are amazing and care so much about you. The nurses are top-notch and take super good care of you when you are sick. All staff members are willing to help campers out, even if they aren't their campers. MYW brings you closer to God, for sure. However, I went with a non-religious friend once and she still had a super time. Don't get me wrong, this is a christian camp, but it is the BEST christian camp. Greatest camp and greatest friends made. :) BEST CAMP EVER

This camp Rocks, great fun and equipment. The new skate park is second to none. Staff are great and the life skills I learned changed my life.

This may make me a bit far-removed, but I attended the camp the summer of the 'It Takes Two' filming, which had been completed in the spring. I was not aware of the movie at the time, as it hadn't come out in theatres, but I admit this would have altered my thoughts about the camp coming in. I recall the elaborate paint jobs had been done just for the movie, and before all had been a dingy brown. I don't care about paint colours, though. That doesn't make a camp. My complaint lies in their religious extremism. I attend camps for their daily activities, I am not religious, but felt I could take it because it looked 'fun.' I had religion shoved down my throat at alarming speeds, I was criticized for my previous beliefs, and left the camp wishing to never think about religion again. I dislike the use of fake names, as I now have no reference point for who my staff were. I must admit, though, that I have friends who work there now and are wonderful people. Maybe I just hit a bad summer.

Incredible, absoloutely incredible! My daughter went for the first time this year, to Junior Camp, and she absoloutely loved it! The staff are amazing, and they care so much about the kids! Thank you so much Mini-Yo-We staff, and my daughter's counsellors; Arrow, Hazel and Jalepino, for making this summer one to remember.

CAMP MINI-Yo-WE is amazing! the counsellors care about you so much adn they are always trying to come up with new ideas for weekly themes (like the mario kart racing at prime 07)! It's also really cool that they have a skate park

Camp MYW is the best!!
ive gone for 6 years and im going again this summer! they do not force beleifs on you but give you a chance to know God. There is worship and bible studys and nightly devotions but the majourity of the time is spent on activities. I love learing about my faith every summer. Most summers i manage to have to go to the nurse tfor something but that is to no fault of the camp. The nurse is always great and the counsellers really understand you. You make so many new friends because you bible study group is always different from your cabin! althought they make sure to put one person from your cabin in the group so you know someone. Ive reccomended many people to camp miniyowe! its a great expeirence to make new friends, have fun and get to learn about god! camp miniyowe is great and i cant wait to go again this summer!

Contrary to some comments on here, Camp Mini-Yo-We Stadd receive absolutely no community service hours, it has been completely volunteer for them. This camp is an amazing place where as a camper, I was able to cnnect with my counsellors, build amazing friendships that I still hold dear today and grow in my faith. Not only is the camp in an absolutely beautiful location, the activities planned for the kids are so fun. I have reccomended this camp to several of my friends and will continue to reccoment this camp. Camp Mini-Yo-We rocks!

this is an awesome camp! u learn so much about God and yourself. true on the doors and windows r holes but they have canvas flaps covering them. there's a wide range of activities. they have everything from dance to skateboarding. the location is beautiful! zipline is so much fun and so is the plunge. the councillors are really friendly they really want you to have the best possible time. tuck shop is great. overall an amazing camp.

Camp Mini-Yo-We is a FANTASTIC place and if you don't believe so it really is your loss, you will never find another camp like it, these councellors are so much more than just highschool students looking for hours, these are people who actually care, i know by having 3 siblings who are councellors, and many many friends who are too, the facilities are amazing they really put a lot of work into it, and if you think it's all propaganda and we should do less bible study, your at the wrong camp, this is a christian facility and me even being a non christian didn't find it so bad, you obviously never entered with an open mind if you thought so, so i HIGHLY reccomend this camp

our family has had a terrific experience with this camp. all three children have developed much of their christian character there and all in the context of a lot of fun, life long friends and safety. It must be one of the best camps in canada.

I went to Mini Yo We some years ago. It was a most terrible institution. My counsellor gave a bunch of propaganda encouraging Christian prosacution of other faiths or groups of people. I will not go at length to post any of them here because it may even be concidered "obsecene" by this website. Needless to say, after reporting my counsellor's lectures to my devout christian mother, I was forbidden from attending the camp again. While respecting the diffrences of oppinions I may hold with other people, Mini Yo We did definitaly NOT extend that gratitude to me. I found the counsellors very rude, extreme, fundimentalists. If you're fine with that, then go ahead and send your kid there. It's just a very extremist place. We spent more time doing bible studies and bible related things than praticipating in generic camp activities. While that is fine, they portrayed the bible in a very extremist, literalist fashion. I will never go back, nor reccomend this place to anybody.

Camp MINI YO WE is soo flippin fun! theres soo much to do there and all of the councelors are really nice!!! you have to be 18 to be a councelor there and recive community hours so they are NOT JUST THERE GETTING HOURS! its alot of fun and you learn ttons about god and about yourself. i would deffinattly recomend it to anyone!!! the high ropes are my favorite!! the cabins arnt bad either, in the yo section there is screens on the windows but i never really find that i need the screens too much up on the we hill:) i guess the bugs get bad sometimes but the pick kills them all and because of the openness of the cabins, the smell doesnt really bother most people ! have fun!!

The counslers are usually high school kids gettin gtheir community service hours so you can get really rude ones who don't want to be there or really nice ones. the facilies are horrible and if your worried about west nile its not the camp for you. cabins have no doors or windows so you better like roughing it, sleeping in a smoke filled cabin(from the burning pick), and like the smell of deet because bug spray will become your new best friend. the range of activity is nice though and its a beautiful camp. It's also the camp used in the olsen twin movie "it takes two" ..be warned there is no more diving tower and those are not the real cabins.
