This camp was a decent camp for several summers. My kids liked most of the counselors and enjoyed the activities. It was a lively place to be. Last summer, my son was spoken to in racist terms by another camper. The camp director did little to nothing to support my son and accused me of interfering because I reported the incident. The director was verbally abusive to me and he minimized the racism as if it was “just something that happens to kids.” Needless to say we will not be returning to Camp Evergreen.

i went to camp evergreen since the first grade and just this summer i had to stop going and i couldn't even stand it!! i was so bored without camp and i could hardly believe it! seriously, this is the place to put your kids when your working or just want some time alone.

I think that Camp Evergreen is a really good place to spend the summer. I look foward to each summer because it is so much fun to be with my friends for seven weeks.

i LOVE this camp! i went their since I was in the first grade and i still love it now! it has great staff, great activities, and everything else you could ever want. my brother was a part of the staff and he had a blast just working their! take it from a camper... camp evergreen is where you want your child to be this summer.

My children have gone to Camp Evergreen for years and love it. The director and staff are always supportive and helpful. It is like one big happy family over there. They love the forest setting and all the fun and crazy activities they have. They have made so many friends too. Its been great for me also because I work and they offer 10 weeks of camp.All in all its a great place and I highly recommend it.

My daughter has attended this camp for the last 4 years and absolutely LOVES IT! My son also started this year and he loves it as well. The counselors are fabulous, and there is such a variety of activities for them to do. They are outdoors all day (weather permitting!!. My daughter was water-phobic the first summer, and she passed the deep-end test in 5 weeks! They never force any child to participate in ANY activity (including swimming!), and physical abuse (or threatening of it)is NEVER allowed. If a parent feels that a child is unsafe in ANY environment, SHAME ON THEM for leaving them there! I have found the owners, nurse, and counselors to ba readily accessible by phone or in person whenever I have needed to speak with them. I will continue to use Camp Evergreen every summer!!
