My son has had wonderful experiences over three years at this camp. Something I like is that they employ some international counselors, which is a learning experience for all (even if the counselor doesn't work out as happened once recently!). Every summer we look forward to picking him up and hearing his wonderful camp stories. Excellent traditional camp experience!

Our son had a bad experience due to bullying. The counselors were all new and not very effective in managing ‘trouble’ kids. The camp facilities / amenities have seen better years and the camp appears to be struggling financially/ cutting corners. A lot of activities promised on the camp site were not available (I.e. horse riding).

this camp has a friendly atmosphere and activities to intrigue just about any type of kid. From sporty to artsy from water stud to cowboy from egineery to dare devil this is a camp like no other. I had the pleasure of working there for 8 years as a counselor and later a camp administrator. Family owned and operated!

The Camp Tall Timbers (CTT) Team is fantastic! Of course counselors change from year to year, but they are always full of energy and fun to be around. I was a camper, worked as a counselor, and now have family and friends that still attend. The choose-your-own-adventure activity style provides just enough flexibility to make sure every camper has a rounded experience. The camper:counselor ratio is often below 4:1 in my experience, pending activities and age groups. The only less-than-perfect thing about CTT is facilities, but that is part of the experience! They continue to improve each year - new buildings, improved cabins, even a bigger lake! (Seriously, I don't know any camps in the region that have a lake like CTT)

First my parents worked here and years later my brother and I attended. It was a great experience on all levels. The staff was engaged and enthusiastic and programming allowed campers to pick their niche.

I love this camp! There is NO other way to say it! I would rather spend my summer hours away from home at Camp tall Timbers. The people are always so nice and the friendships are so close you wouldn't believe.

My daughter went last summer for the first time and loved it! She is counting down the days until camp starts. I knew we had chosen the right place when a letter home read, "everyone knows everyone--just like a family." Not the fanciest camp, but a wonderful, warm place!

I was fortunate enough to have worked as a Staff Member at CTT for 4 years. It is a great summer camp where everyone knows everyone(a very underrated quality these days)which really enhances the experience for both staffers and campers. If there were ever the perfect place to send your child to a "home away from home" CTT is the place.

I attended this camp for 13 years in the 1980s and 1990s and now my daughter attends. This camp gets everything right, from building independence and self-esteem in children, to great friendships to healthy, good tasting food to a variety of fun activities for kids, including traditional athletics, horses, swimming, arts and crafts, theater. I am excited that my children will get to have the same fantastic summer camp experiences that I did.

I went to Camp Tall Timbers and worked there, and have been really impressed with how the camp has evolved -- not just in terms of facilities, but in programming. At the same time, the camp administrators have done a great job of keeping it a CAMP (not a country club). I would have sent my own kids there except they went to music camp. However, I did refer several other families, all of whom have been thrilled with their kids' experience there

I attended for over 10 years and just love Camp Tall Timbers! Best memories/times/summers of my life! The staff is always great as is the Smith family!! What a wonderful decision to attend!

Tall Timbers is the definition of a true summer camp. It is truly amazing and costs a reasonable amount of money compared to other camps. One can barely begin to describe how incredible it is in this small comment space. You may not get facilities worthy of Club Med and have to pay an exorbitant amount of money but you get amazing staff that helps the campers and allows them to have the time of their lives. Unlike other huge camps with many hundreds of people, at Tall Timbers, everyone knows everyone and it is better this way. The activities are great and the facilities are also terrific after a number of amazing renovations but what honestly defines this camp is its closeness and feel of a tight-knit community. If you go to Tall TImbers you will definitely have an unbelievable summer that you will never forget for the rest of you life.

CTT is THE place to be if your looking for an authentic summer camping experience. The staff to camper ratio is in the campers favor but more than that, the staff have always been incredible people truly dedicated to providing the CTT experience. To put it simply, the place is just special, you make lasting friendships, do awesome things, and most importantly learn important things about life. CTT is as they say, away from everyday. So if you're looking for an authentic camping experience that will change your life in a positive way forever, then choose CTT, otherwise... choose one of those over-priced under-staffed places and not have as much fun.

I was a camper for 6 years and I had some of the best experiences of my life there. The staff was great and became friends to the campers. Activities are good and standard for traditional camps but where Camp Tall Timbers stands out is with the friendships made with other campers and counselors. I still keep in contact with people I met my first year. I have missed it ever since I left 4 years ago and hope to visit soon. Great camp!

I spent 9 years here, first as a camper then as a counselor. Hands down the best summers of my life! CTT has just about any activity you can imagine, from traditional sports to no-traditional activities. The friends you make there, you'll have for the rest of your life. Facilities wise, CTT is great too. Compared to other camps that people I know have gone to, even having electricity in your cabin/tent is a huge plus!

I grew up at Camp Tall Timbers, I met my best friends at Camp Tall Timbers, and I intend to go back as a counselor in a few years. It's worth every penny to build lasting relationships like the ones I built here. I never got homesick, and every time I returned home, I found myself campsick.

We love the staff and the administration. I went there for 10 years as a camper and my son is going for his 3rd year and my other son is going theis year for try out weekend. We attend family weekend each year which is a great intro for the kids and parents.

As a camper for 3 years and a counselor at Camp Tall Timbers for 2, I can honestly say that the best summers of my life have occurred here. The family atmosphere, continued relationships outside of camp, and amazing variety of evening activities really helps to make the summer fun all the time! A really well trained staff offer great activities including zip lines, rock climbing, and water tubing on the lake. It really is amazing how in one session counselors and campers become as close as brothers and sisters. It's something this camp does better any other by selectively choosing its staff.

I was a camper here for 4 years and had the 4 best summers of my life. (I also attended two other sleepaway camps that did not compare). I returned years later as a counselor and can say from personal experience that the staff is fully committed to creating the best possible experience for the kids. The small size of the camp makes for very close, lasting personal relationships.
